I haven't had film screen protectors since my S7 a few years ago. It had a nasty sticky feel and a bad 'orange peel' distortion. I used glass protectors after, but hated that there were some oil slick bubbles and the dot matrix patterns. I went without protection for a few years. Then I got the S20 last year and it had a preinstalled protector on it. It was fabulous! Awesome glass like feel, no distortion, and scratch protection. Sadly, the S21 Ultra (US) does not have one installed (that's okay, I'll take that as part of the $200 price cut). This one is as close to that so far. I wanted a screen protector mostly for scratch protection. I'm sure glass ones are more protective vs impact, but this one is great for $8. I just don't know if I can swallow the $40+ for the glass ones. Installation is pretty easy if you watch the 1min video once or twice. Mine when on without any dust or bubbles caught under and is almost perfect! I can tell that right around the selfie camera that the protector is slight, just ever so off. It doesn't cover the camera or skew so far off that the edges are misaligned so I'm not going to redo it. Easy installation. As others have mentioned, fingerprint magnet, which is just a product of any glossy screen. I re-registered my right thumb twice and the fingerprint sensor isn't all that much different as far as accuracy from the bare screen, at least in my testing. Screen protectors have come a long way since I last used them. This one is perfect for my needs! $8 for scratch protection and with zero distortion and pretty much feels like glass is a winner! I guess it is $4 per protector since this is a 2pack.

This seems good, decent price and you get two of them. Of course i have not stress tested it yet so I don't really know how well it will protect my phone. I just feel much better when my phone comes into contact with other objects. The only bad thing I can say is that you probably want to watch an installation video first. To me, the instructions seemed a tad ambiguous and left some possibly confusing details out. Some may not notice this because they will just assume and they will probably get it right, but me having messed up a totally different screen protector application before, I was very hesitant and wanted to make sure of every detail. So when I lift a certain tab and only the tab comes up and not the whole layer, and then I proceed with the next step, I was very confused as to why it did not seem to be the correct installation. The whole layer is supposed to come up but that is not what happened. I had to run and go watch a video because I wasn't sure what was supposed to happen after lifting the tab and laying down the film. After watching a video it became very simple and obvious and I thought the whole layer was supposed to come up but didn't want to assume because you know... I just thought I was going to mess it up there for a minute but it's fine and you can just work any bubbles out. It looks good. It's probably easier than many protector installations. Just watch a video. I also wish they had the camera film packaged with the screen protectors, but those are separate.

Overall, installation was easy with the guide they provide, and it came out great. Fits well with my Torras case. Its not lifting at all and it feels protective. Fingerprint works without any issue. I like that they included the mount for the back so the phone sits even, but it did get stuck to my rubber mat. I peeled it off and stuck to the plastic of the screen protector I used, so I can use it for the second screen protector later. Didn't think the bottom side needs to be very sticky, the foam should be enough. I didn't like the guide mount that plugs into the charger though. It was very loose fitting, and I know its not my phone because its brand new. I also knocked the top off when I was trying to line up the screen protector. You kinda have to make that part work. Despite that, it still turned out well. However, I've worked in cell phone repair for 3+ years, and I've done a lot of screen protectors, so keep that in mind.

Historically I have used Zagg screen protectors and I have usually used a wet application method as it has proven to be the most effective method for a good application. The last phone I had, had a Zagg screen protector of over two years. One of the corners was starting to peel back but overall, it was still in good shape. I just got a new Galaxy S21 Ultra and I was fascinated by the method used to apply it, so I bought it. The application was smooth, no dust particles, no bubbles, and it is straight! So far there are no issues with using the phone, S-Pen works fine, and there are no issues with any swipe gestures. I did notice that the finger print reader is a little less sensitive, but it does work. This is just day one, so time will tell. However, just based on the application, I trust that this will be a good choice. I will update this review after a few weeks.

Luckily the screen protector actually worked with the fingerprint reader. Unluckily, putting it on works about 50% of the time, and the little parts they give to assist with the install process just don't really work well. They don't align the screen protector well and they have a tendency to rip the protector during install.

I decided to go with another brand and had problems with it peeling up, wasting 2 of the 3 that came in the pack, even with the case getting nowhere near it. Found out this one had an easy installation tool and jumped at it. It's still on and not peeling, had a few bubbles but they were easy to maneuver out and they stayed gone. Even though it covers more than the last one did and I'm a little worried that taking off and putting on My case or different cases might eventually make it peel, so far after all the times I've done this, it still looks flawless. It barely looks like it's on, I almost can't tell. It's awesome and I shouldn't have wasted My money going elsewhere the first time. The only thing that seems to be the deal with both screen protectors is the fingerprint reader feels slightly slower and eventually just stops working as well over time but it might just be dirt or something. Overall I'm very happy with how perfectly it fits, how invisible it is and how well it stays put.

So I was super excited that this screen protector was going to be perfect for my new phone. It got really good ratings and I do realize that when you only pay $10 for protection, you might not get rocket science but I have never had problems with a lower priced protector in the past. I admit that I did have to watch the installation video about 10 times while I was putting on the first one. We just got 2 new phones so I did 2 installations. I thought it was really cool how the installation was done. It made sure that the film was secure and didn't slip during the process. I did my phone first and the screen protector went on great on the actual phone screen. It was smooth. There were no bubbles or ridges or issues. My problem with these protectors is that they are too big for the Samsung Galaxy S21. Maybe they only have one size and these are also made to fit the S21 Ultra. I don't know but this protector is too big. I followed instructions and ran my fingers around the outside of the phone to make it seal down like skin but it didn't work. It just got folded up and then when I put my case on around it, I got bubbles all around the edges because it lifted up instead of stopping nicely at the edge. I had to get scissors and cut the excess off so I could get the protector off and I even let it set overnight because I thought that maybe I tried to put on the case too soon after completing the install but the damage had already been done and the bubbles remain on all 4 corners. I would attach a picture but obviously I can't. I'm at work and he's at work or I would use his phone. Next I went to his phone and thought I would do a better job and it was even more of a disaster. I tried to trim his right after installing it but he ended up getting bubbles in several places in the middle of the screen and the more I used the squeegee tool to flatten it out, the tool started to leave marks in the actual screen protector like little lines. He had me cut his about a quarter of an inch from one of the sides because he said it was in the way and he could hear when he was on a call because it was so long that it was covering up the speaker. Anyway, I think they would have been just great protectors if they had fit the screen of the phone correctly but they just didn't. I looked at the labeling on the package and it did say it was for our specific device but nowhere in the installation instructions did it say anything about how to handle excessive overage of material on the sides of your device. Even though this was one of the top 10 screen protectors I saw listed, I wouldn't recommend it for your new S21 unless you make sure it will fit the screen correctly.

This is the screen protector that should have come with the S21 ultra. If Samsung really cared about the environment they would have included this rather than make us suffer all the single use disposable packaging this product creates (seriously there are so many plastic sheets and layers and wrappers to this). That being said am film is the protector that should have come on the Samsung. It feels like glass. It does not have a rubbery feel like tpu. It doesn't feel like hard plastic. This am film feels close to glass. It is self healing too. All the marks I put in with my thumb nail healed off. Only down side is, it is hard to install. I've done a few of these multi folding layered ones before and they do greatly reduce the air bubbles. If you're good//have done a few you can get no air bubbles fairly easy. The first layer however is confusing and in the process of doing layer 2 and 3 the protective covers slide off too easy. I had to lift and reset multiple times on stage 1 and 2 (not 3) but I did manage to get it on flawless first try so i have the second as a spare//backup. I really wish this was a 3 pack just so there's more practice runs (would be less stressful if it's your first time installing one. )

This is an updated review! I had issues with the initial set, since then the seller reached out and offered a replacement. The replacement film installed flawlessly. No issue whatsoever like the first go around. THANK YOU! ---------------------- First review: First film did not apply properly as the tabs you were supposed to remove were really stuck. The second film was not cut properly and it does not cover the size of my phone. Do not waste your money!

I have applied dozens of screen protectors in my life time but this insane! First of all the contents of the package, it literally covers all your needs, trackpad is very nice touch. Secondly the application, as easy as it gets. And finally, the end result! I was actually in doubt about that... But only because I wasn't able see the screen protector on my display. Thank you, this is how a product should be packaged, presented and guided to the application! Kudos!
