Mac Sports Collapsible Folding Outdoor Utility Wagon, Black

I don't usually write reviews but I will make an exception for this exceptional product. I purchased the cart to schlep groceries and warehouse club purchases from the car. Depending on where I park, multiple trips with heavy items can be frustrating and painful due to aging knees. Thankfully aging also leads hopefully to wisdom and this was a preventative purchase as well as planning for the future. The cart was fully assembled which is always great. It unfolds easily and folds back up equally easily. It is not heavy and fits easily in the back seat of the car or the half the trunk. My intention is to leave it in the car. It is large enough to carry 2 full 24 packs of water with room to spare. I try to limit my warehouse runs twice a month so I usually have quite a bit of stuff and with this cart I have been able to bring everything in in one trip including water those humongous rolls of TP and all my purchases. It maneuvers easily and feel sturdy. I do not feel the weight of the packed cart. I do feel more comfortable when things fit in where the sides are so not to slide out. I could thing things tipping if they are not enclosed or on an even surface. The handle telescopes out and locks – I do wonder if the holder for the handle will loosen with time as it just snaps into the frame but it's been a month and so far so good. The only thing I would mention is to keep an eye on the price there were huge variations in price due to color - and a day or two after I purchased the item the same thing the same color was like $40 more so perhaps use a site like camel camel to know you're getting a decent price. Red does seem to be cheaper but I chose blue for $10 more to match my car - a girl's gotta match! To say I have used this a lot since purchase would be an understatement; I consider it a game changer. I have no doubt that the same copycat neighbor that bought my exact lawn mower, snow blower dethatcher after seeing this independent woman crushing home maintenance, expecting him to one shortly LOL. I saw some knockoffs that were a bit cheaper but settled on this. Always buy sold by or fulfilled by amazon and know I’m covered if wrong. Customer service has been very good. Well, I threw the box out yesterday –my return window is ended - this one’s a keeper.

This wheeled cart has been one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I originally bought it to help carry groceries from the car into the house, and it has exceeded all my expectations! It's sturdy, lightweight, and the wheels roll very smoothly, even when it's fully loaded. Plus, I've found so many other practical uses for it. I take it with me every time I go to the park with my nieces and nephews, and it's perfect for carrying everything we need—toys, backpacks, water bottles, even a blanket. It saves me time and effort, and really makes the whole outing much more convenient. Highly recommended if you're looking for something versatile, durable, and easy to handle. I honestly don't know how I managed without it before!

I'm finally reviewing this after a year of use and here's why: I had this folded up and covered in the garage. One day when pulling out of the garage it somehow ended up under the wheels of my Xterra and I ran it over. It popped loudly and I thought it was a bag of air; packaging, that is used for shipping. I went ahead and left, I couldn't see it from inside the car, my driveway is fairly steep. I came back, and don't you know I ran over it again as I pulled in and then had immediately backed over it again, arghhhhh... I got out and there it was on its side. I couldn't bring myself to check it right away cause I was pretty sure I'd damaged my trusty wagon beyond repair. My husband and I finally checked it today and there is NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!' Wow! How is that possible? I have had this wagon in the stars "Americana" style for 15 months. I bought it when I wasn't allowed to drive after blowing out my humerus and shoulder in a fall. I still use it all the time. The cover slides on easily and fastens easily w quick release clips. Folds out w one hand and carries a lot of stuff. The front wheels turn easily. The back wheels are fixed. The handle clips into place and locks if you want to lock it. Lots of people ask me about this cart because it glides so easily even when really weighted down. I don't know it's weight limit, but I've had well over a hundred pounds in it repeatedly and it's still a champ. This is top quality and so well designed. I can easily lift it in and out of the car and I'm no Spring chicken. I see people wheeling little kids in this sort of wagon. I use it for groceries, pottery supplies and all kinds of things. Love love love this wagon. 💕 😘

This cart is awesome! I use it for lugging heavy book boxes around and it's been wonderfully reliable. Folds easily, too.

I came pretty close to buying a similar cart at Costco for $49.99, but changed my mind when I noticed that the weight rating for the Costco one was only 100 lbs. ... a sure sign that their cart was of a lighter/less durable construction. I figured the extra 50 lbs. weight rating on this "Mac Sports" version was well worth the extra ten bucks or so, and I'm now very glad I did. It comes with a nice cover with snap connectors/straps that keep the cart from opening up while stored, one half of the carrying handle is attached to the front and back ends, so when it's folded, the two halves combine to make a perfectly centered carrying handle that's accessible through an opening on the top of the cover. Putting this thing to use is as simple as it gets. You just take off the cover, open it up, and you're off. I immediately tested it for my main intended use: carting fairly light, but bulky music equipment across asphalt, concrete, hard dirt, grass, etc. for outdoor stuff ... worked perfectly for that, and I'm sure I'll find many other uses for it as well. When it's opened up, the bottom panels are nice, flat, and very well supported by the underlying frame. The covering material is a kind of woven polyester ... not as heavy/tough as cordura nylon, but tough enough, and not likely to tear, based on the way it's sewn, reinforced by, and attached to the cart frame. There's a few different colors to pick from, but they all seem to cost a bit more, and the least expensive, "basic blue" was fine for me. The wheels are knobby rubber, mounted on what look to be pretty tough polymer/plastic rims. I wanted these instead of the big, wide plastic ones on the Mac Sports "all terrain" cart, because the big plastic ones may do better crossing softer surfaces like sand, but they undoubtedly make a lot of racket going across asphalt and other hard surfaces. Back wheels are fixed position casters, front wheels are free spinning casters, not controlled by the pull handle, which "goes" in only one direction: straight. Therefore, you can't really use the handle to turn the front wheels or steer the cart until you've got the cart moving. This is not a big deal, I guess, but if I had my "druthers" on this particular type of cart/price range, I think I'd prefer a handle that also swivels right and left, connected to a steering bar for the front wheels, like the old "Radio Flyer" wagons. Point is, in order to rotate the front wheels from a dead stop, you'll need to grab the upper front crossbar of the cart and getting it moving that way, or risk damaging the joint where the pull handle connects to the lower front crossbar. This joint seems a bit "squirrelly" to me, especially when you're pulling a heavy load. It's basically a straight pipe with a hollow T-joint/bushing at the end, secured to a flange mounted on the lower frame crossbar with a big rivet/bolt. This connection allows the handle to swivel up and down, but not left or right. IMHO, not an ideal design for the pull handle on a cart otherwise designed for carrying loads up to 150 lbs. For example, I think just about anyone pulling this thing will instinctively try to use the handle to turn the front wheels (just like we all did with the Radio Flyer wagons we played with as kids). Not much of a problem with a light load, but the heavier the load, the greater the risk that pulling the handle left or right in an effort to steer the cart will damage this connecting joint. That's just an "issue" to be aware of, and get used to in operating the cart ... not a deal breaker for me, or even cause to take off a star. I love everything else about this cart. Tough. Looks nice. Convenient. Easy to carry, open, use, clean and store, and overall, a superb value from Amazon.

I never realized how much I needed a folding outdoor utility wagon until now. I had originally purchased this for the sole benefit of my aging dog, who still loves to go for walks with me but can't manage to walk the entire time. However, it also gets a ton of use hauling recyclables and garbage to our communities shared refuse areas. It's quite the walk for me but not far enough to justify using the car. I have moved huge and heavy in their own right, cardboard boxes for furniture deliveries, with this little wagon without a problem. It really makes taking out the garbage so much more pleasant and less time consuming. Fold-up is a cinch. You pull on a tab located in the middle of the cart and pull upwards. That's all there is to that. The wagon neatly collapses flat, you velcro the handles together and then set it aside for storage. It does come with a very nice 'cover' for long term storage but I don't like to fuss with it since I use this wagon on a near daily basis. One star deduction is only because this wagon does not have a safety break/lock on any of the wheels. I sort of presumed this would be a given for any sort of transportation device on wheels but it's not. The wheels work really well... so well that if you're not paying attention, your wagon could very well decide to go for a ride without you! There isn't a visible gradient where I live but even so, I've learned to be careful after having to chase it down through our parking lot (I had seriously just turned around for a few seconds to continue loading it). If my dog goes in it for a ride, my hand doesn't leave the handle for even a split second - on pavement, this thing reallllly flies. Additionally, the lack of a wheel lock/break also makes it difficult, albeit not impossible, to store this wagon upright. Overall, I'm very, very satisfied with this purchase and feel that I paid a great price for this sturdy wagon. I'm sure we'll get many, many years worth of use out of it as it appears to be well constructed and of high quality. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

I don't know how I survived without one of these! This brand is very good quality and well made. The wheels really make a difference in maneuvering around corners or through doors. You don't realize how important the wheels are until you use a wagon with cheap ones! Both of my patents are in assisted living facilities and although they serve three meals a day, each parent likes to have their own snacks, etc. i their apartment. My wagon has been a lifesaver for me. It is also great for your own shopping needs and holds a lot of groceries. Also great for transporting other items when going on a shopping spree. Easily fold up and is transportable. I keep mine behind the driver's seat so it is always available. Unlimited uses. I LOVE MINE. Keep in mind that on these wagons, you do get what you pay for!

I’m a free lance videographer so my initial reason for purchase was to use this to cart around video equipment. I’ve had it for a few months and it’s been great. Corona virus hit my business kinda hard so I didn’t get to use it a whole lot for that purpose and I stated using it to go grocery shopping. Ok, here we go it’s review time. PROS: Portability - The wagon can easily be folded by pulling up a black plastic tab in the middle of the inside of the wagon. Although it’s not particularly heavy, it does have an adequate amount of heft to not feel like quality. Just make sure the wheels are set right when you fold it. Frame strength - Although I don’t necessarily recommend it and as a testament to the strength of the frame, I’ve seen people carting around small children in this thing. I’ve placed some over-sized boxes in the wagon and metal frame doesn’t seem to flex too much which is a good thing since if it were to flex, it would likely have a hard time folding back up for transport/storage. Wheels - What you don’t want are tiny skate board wheels where the slightest pebble will bring the cart to a screeching halt or ungraciously tip and empty it’s contents. However, you also don’t want ginormous SUVesque sized wheels either as that will effect storage and transport. The wheels are tough rubber-like material and are moderately sized. There just the right size as to not be effected by everything in a grocery store parking lot and have the right firmness while still pliable enough to not feel every bump. I’m sure you’ll get tons of mileage from them unless your kids get to your wagon then that may vary. Space - Now depending on your needs this may be something you have to look into. For light to moderate grocery shopping it’s perfect. There is a weight limit on it that I can’t recall (check the description) but for my purposes it’s all I need. It’s great for the beach as well (whenever that happens again) Convenience - During this whole pandemic I was able to use it to go grocery shopping. I didn’t have to worry if the girl at Aldi or Kroger doused the handless in disinfectant or not because I already rolled up with my own cart ready to go. No need to handle the cart someone else handles. Plus, after unloading I just fold the cart up and throw it in the truck or back seat. Uber quick. Cons: Ok, I do have little issue. The handle is well...a bit meh. You’ll find as you have it unlocked (it sort of snaps into the front of the body of the wagon) and your pulling it along, if it’s full it kind of feels as the the handle will break or bend when you turn a corner. The construction of the pivot of the handle is riveted into some sort of rod in a hinge kinda deal. It feels a bit flimsy. I’m sort of handy so I’m already thinking of ways to either reinforce it or rebuild that part al together. Other than that it’s a great utility wagon that I’m sure you’ll find some sort of use for.

Sturdy . Large . Solid wheels . Would reccomend !

I have a few friends that I Travel with. We Trail Ride or Winter in Arizona. They have collapsible wagons. Pretty sturdy ones for transporting darn near anything. That’s what I wanted. Could find one in a store that was suitable. Ordered this one. When it arrived I immediately unpacked it and I unfolded it easily. The material is tough Denier Nylon and the Frame is really good. The Handle is in the proper place so it’s easy to pull. The wheels are big enough to make it stable. I’m happy with it. It’s just as good as my buddies.

This is a fab trolley good for shopping in Aldi. I live on a boat and this works well on the towpath.

I did so much shopping for a good quality but not stupidly expensive wagon! I got 2 other ones but returned them as I was disappointed in quality. Then I got this one! And I'm so glad I did! It's $8 cheaper now... go figure... but I absolutely love it! I'm 5'10" so I didn't want a short little handle - and this one is perfectly fine. The whole thing seems to be good quality. The only thing I wish it had was a mechanism to stop the handle from dropping to the ground if you drop it, and also I wish it folded up smaller (like another brand) ... but hey, we can't have everything right, ha? It's the perfect size, sturdy, and moves very easily. I only use it for carrying groceries from the car to my condo... and lugging stuff down to the storage room - it is so perfect for that! I imagine it will last a long time because it will only be used indoors. I would buy again if needed, so can definitely recommend. The price changes often on Amazon... when I first looked at it it was $150. then I bought it when it was $103. and now it's $95. so hope if you get it you get a good deal! :)
