Nanoleaf Shapes - MINI Triangles Expansion Pack

These lights are addictive! The amount of control, color selection, dynamic "movement" options, and customization is pretty extensive. I love the fact that you can select almost any color, even pastels. You are able to create custom "scenes" where you have the option to customize each light panel's color, brightness, movement, timing, etc. I don't consider myself the most creative but these lights and the accompanying app allow me to be creative in an easy and fun way. If you aren't feeling that creative, you can also just select from a wide assortment of scenes on the app, most of which are created by other members. (see video for selection of various different kinds of scenes you can create and/or choose from). The music animation feature is also very customizable with several effect options to choose from. Syncs/reacts to music really well and will add energy to any song or party. The panels are touch sensitive so that certain movements across the panels, having different effects. Some scenes are even designed with this feature in mind, creating interactive games you can play. I don't use this feature as I find, especially with the games, the app doesn't really include instructions on the game play, the rules, etc. so never really know if you are playing it right. I started with the Nanoleaf Shapes starter kit which really won't cover or fill up very much space on your wall. Depending on the layout design, you'll probably want to get expansion packs as well. Also keep in mind, you must get a starter kit before you get an expansion pack as the expansion packs only have the light panels and none of the other items you will need (control module, power cable, etc). Recommend this item, just be aware that you will want more.

Works well with the Hubspace Geometric Shapes kit. Now I have big triangles and small triangles all attached together. Love it!

these do not come with the cable or the controller (both necesary to make it function) but when they are on a sale you con buy these and even the controller and cable separately from nanoleaf for under 130$ total

I wasn’t aware that an additional item was needed to light these triangles. I’m disappointed because an item that is $99.00 should be complete. So my money was wasted on this product still in the box. 🙁

Nanoleaf makes a great product but they are pricey and connection issues make it frustrating

These are great the only thing that could be better about them is the price.

fully in on the ecosystem, spent a lot of money on this tech. when it works, it's great. magical. amazing. when it doesn't work, which is frequently, it's a disaster. unresponsive app, failed firmware updates, and worst of all the controllers die all of the time for no good reason and they have stopped offering replacements AND they aren't even available to purchase replacements on their website. so now i have a bunch of useless shapes, permanently affixed to my wall. fully regretting my decision.

Ho aggiunto questo kit di espansione Nanoleaf Shapes Mini Triangle Expansion Pack al mio set che già avevo da un po’, più che altro per riempire una parete vuota in camera e dare un effetto un po’ più “scenico”. Prima impressione Appena aperta la scatola, i mini triangoli fanno subito una buona impressione: sono leggeri, ben rifiniti e danno quell’idea di prodotto moderno. Però si capisce anche subito che senza il kit base non servono a nulla, quindi sono proprio un’aggiunta e non un prodotto completo. Uso nella vita quotidiana L’installazione è abbastanza semplice, ma richiede pazienza. Bisogna allinearli bene e attaccarli con gli adesivi o i connettori. Una volta configurati con l’app, diventano davvero scenografici: li uso spesso la sera con luci soffuse o quando guardo film. La sincronizzazione con la musica funziona bene e crea un bell’effetto in stanza. Anche il controllo con Alexa è comodo quando non voglio usare il telefono. Cosa funziona bene Il punto forte è sicuramente l’effetto visivo: i colori sono vivi e si possono personalizzare tantissimo. Anche la modularità è interessante, perché puoi creare forme diverse e adattarle alla parete. L’integrazione con altri dispositivi smart è fluida e dopo la configurazione iniziale tutto funziona in modo stabile. Cosa convince meno Il lato meno piacevole è il prezzo, che secondo me è alto rispetto a quello che sono, cioè semplici pannelli luminosi. Anche l’app a volte non è immediata: ci vuole un po’ per capire tutte le impostazioni. Gli adesivi, poi, non sempre danno sicurezza nel lungo periodo, soprattutto se si spostano o si cambia idea sulla disposizione. Conclusione Alla fine sono un bel complemento estetico più che una necessità. Funzionano bene e fanno scena, ma sono un acquisto che ha senso soprattutto se si è già dentro all’ecosistema Nanoleaf e si cerca un effetto visivo in casa piuttosto che una semplice luce funzionale.
