Very Happy With Product
I was looking for Ammo Cans that were made to store AR and other types of magazines when I came across the MTM Mag Can. After reading a few reviews and watching a video that someone posted I decided to purchases a couple. I am very glad I did because these are great. - The foam inserts are high quality and hold the magazines very snug. - Ten are for AR style magazines (can also fit AK mags too) and 10 for all the other types I have ranging from 1911 through .22LR, this is a total of 20 magazines. If you have 1911 magazines with no foot, then you can fit two in one slot which you should be able to see here in the picture. - You can also stack these on top of each other for storage as well. - The O Ring appears to be high quality and it closes tight with no wiggle or play. They are light in weight but still reasonably sturdy ,but I would not store very heavy metal ammo cans filled with ammo on top as they "appear" to not be made for that amount of weight. However, you could easily stack these on top of themselves filled with magazines probably to the ceiling with no issues. They also appear study enough to handle that same level of stacking with full magazines with no issues (my magazines are empty). Overall these are great and do an excellent job storing all my extra magazines that I have. These are plastic and not metal so if you are looking for something that can be secured with a lock these are not for you since even if you lock them someone could easily break the plastic to get inside. These do exactly what I want and meet my needs perfectly. Other ammo cans and foam seem to be sold separately, just the foam (no can) is around $18 - $30 each. Having these at such a low price for the foam and the case was attractive (I bought them for around $21-$22 each). I hope this review helps and that you are able to gain the information you need.

Best case i have purchased to take to the range!
I have 3 of these and love them for range day! My Mags fit nice and snug. This is all you need for range day to take out your Ar15 and pistol loaded Mags. This case is heavy duty and thick will not break after first use going to last a lifetime.

Super convenient for transportation of pre loaded mags.
Short & Sweet: Excellent Quality, Fair Price, Perfect for that OCD Organizer. 5/5 Long & Drawn Out: I purchased this case in order to give me the ability to be more organized at the range as well as allow for easy transportation. Being able to keep all mags consolidated in one easy location is kinda nifty. This ammo can has far exceeded all expectations in terms of build quality, and it dose exactly what it says it dose making it a really good addition to my shooting range equipment. The outer can is made of some kind of hardened plastic that seems to be fairly sturdy, and the bottom of the can is filled with foam that is already pre cut for your mags. I run 10 PMAGs for my AR15 as well as 3 regular Glock mags(two have magazine extenders) and 7 Glock PMAGs. Also as an added bonus it holds my 60 round drum magazine that I purchased from Magpul. The cut out for the pistol mag sections seems like they would hold single stack mags with good tension, but I only have double stack mags so I do not know how securely it would hold single stack. You definitely do not need this product but if you like to keep things super organized in one can that can be easily transferred back and forth from gun range to home, then I highly recommend this product especially for the price they offer it for.

Solid product for AR mags
AR mags can be stored and transported very nicely in this, no issues there. My pistol mags fit properly as well. AK mags don't fit the cut outs and are too tall if forced in. Since this box was not advertised for AK mags I can not fault it for that, I had just hoped it might work as at least one other person said it worked for him. Some people suggested the box walls were too flimsy but I can't see any real concern there unless you intend to kick the crate from the car to the range booth it should be fine. The price is a bit on the high side IMHO but not outrageously so considering the foam is included.

Very nice range ammo carrier
Great range ammo holder. 5.56/223 mags and double pistol mags. I didn’t read description when I bought my second one thinking I could put AK mags in it.

Thorough review with bullet points
• This case has six (6) slots that will hold Glock OEM 33 Round Magazines with lid closed: four (4) on right side and two (2) on left side (see photos). • The foam was glued but the glue did not stick. I removed the foam with ease when it first arrived as the glue was on the case and foam, but nothing was sticking or holding. • There is a minor flaw: On the 3rd row back (First row for 30 round 5.56 PMAGs), in the second slot from the left (see photo with yellow circle), a Magpul 5.56/.223 30 round PMAG (magazine) will cause the lid to not fully close/seat. Because it is only millimeters from close, you can close it, but you will notice the lid flexing to accommodate for the Magpul 30 round 5.56 PMAG (magazine). That puts some pressure on the mag, hinges, and/or latches. • The magazine slots seemed to be designed for the magazines to go in upside-down, as jamming the mags with the feed ramp facing up seems to be a very snug and somewhat challenging fit, which might not be beneficial in an emergency situation. • With the magazines facing down, the actual cartridge (round) that is first in the magazine will be the part of the magazine making contact with the floor of the case, which means the mag will not be resting on the feed ramp. However, if the magazine is empty, then the point of contact will be the feed ramp, which should not add pressure with an empty magazine. • So, you can’t necessarily “fit” a .308 mag, but you really can. I used the three slots on the right, back row to put my 308 mags. I just cut out some more rectangular space and they fit great! See last picture. • Final thought: I really do like this case and I will NOT be sending it back because of the issue with the one magazine slot. I cannot speak to how it holds up over time or how it does with 20 mags fully loaded, but it should do well. I hope this helps.

Perfect for my use.
Exactly what I needed. Just as described. Holds a combination of AR-15 style magazines plus a number of double-stack pistol magazines (or two single-stacks in one slot).
