It works!
This product is good if you want your cast iron products to look new & polished again. The only down side of using this product is that it comes off on your hands, but that may not be an issue if you let each application dry thoroughly.

Good product. Just does wipe off when you clean. Also can stain the stone on stove as well if you aren’t accurate with application

Polished up our old wooden stove nicely!
This polished our old wooden stove up really nicely, I do recommend using old rags and being in a well ventilated area. There isn't a super awful smell upon applying, but it is messy and will stain any rags you have. We have not had a chance to light our stove yet this season, as the weather is still very warm, but I will update this review when we have our first fire in our freshly polished stove.

Bought this for a friend she needed it for her stove. Sent me a picture came out great very happy with her purchase.

Eh, not great.
There is no scent, no shine. But it is effective in coloring the grates black. I don't think the polish will last long though.

Very pleased. Wear gloves and do over safe surface, I used cardboard and a painter sponge.

True value and amazing coverage.
My two thirty year old stoves, and pipes, look brand new. Never thought I would see it. Goes on right over the rust, lol. One $20 bottle did two full size stove and pipes top to bottom. Went on with a paintbrush. Best damn value I have had in thirty years. Still have almost a quarter bottle left. Cleans up with water.

Wear gloves!
Make sure the item you’ll polish is clean and fully dry, and wear gloves. Better yet, polish the items in a tray that you don’t mind staining or do it outside on old newspapers. Otherwise you’ll stain your hands, fingernails and countertops.

Nice coverage, a good improvement, recommend.
This is good stuff, very black and covers well. Definitely wear gloves as it could get messy. Overall I liked the finished results on my wood stove. There was rust on the top which is now gone. I haven’t lit the stove yet to see if there will be smoke or odor, I will find out in the fall but bottom line is it has nice coverage and a little goes along way. I recommend.

Great polish to blacken the metal fireplace.
Shines up our rusty Franklin fireplace at the cottage. Makes it look almost like it’s new. Easy to apply.
