Skip this one. No instruction, just uninspired example poses.
This book does not live up to the expectations set by the How to Draw Manga by the same publisher. It's less than half as thick, and does not have any step-by-step instruction, just some overly simplistic and cliche examples without any explanation. Even the initial sketches are not fully fleshed out; no proportion guidelines, midlines, nothing but some character outlines with a few circles at key joints. You're honestly better off just looking at literally any manga in your collection.

This is a good idea for someone trying to learn about dynamic poses and such, however it’s just so small. I figured that there would be more poses than what was shown in the description, but no… and for $20 I feel ripped off. This should be priced between $7 and $10…
