For color wow: the description says there's nothing to weigh your hair down, but dimethicone, a silicone, is the 3rd ingredient in the conditioner??

Yes, we do use dimethicones in our conditioner. Dimethicones come in many different sizes or molecular weights. The ones that buildup on hair are the extremely large dimethicones which we avoid. The light dimethicones detangle and add shine with minimal weight and no buildup. It will wash off with your next shampoo. We do not use any silicones in our shampoo. This is where we emphasize not to use silicones since the shampoo is massaged into your scalp and can cause hair thinning.

Thanks for your question. I am not sure which of the Color Wow products you are referencing but all of the products are either have a very subtle fragrance or are fragrance free.
