I am a left leg amputee. I am also a nurse. I’ve researched and sat in many chairs, and this chair by far has performed better than any I have test driven. My seller was amazing, super fast ship. You should know the batteries come separate from the chair. The batteries will come in a smaller package typically from a different shipper because I didn’t know this at the time. Batteries require special handling which makes sense. My chair arrived in pristine condition. This chair MSRP is $4000, I got mine for 2500 including batteries. You can purchase an older chair on marketplace or eBay but you never really know how old they are just by looking at them. And I am dependent on a motorized appliance. I need to know how old they are and I need to know that I can trust them. I do have an older hoveround that I purchased on Facebook marketplace, I don’t trust it enough to leave the house with it. These appliances can look new and be 15- 20 Years old. And I have had scooters just die on the sidewalk. If you’re having second thoughts if you’re really not sure let this be the notice that helps you make that decision. Because for me this was a very good decision. Two motors, a comfortable seat, and no jerky movements from the controller. Best to you.Update November 10,2023I still love my Hoveround and I have multiple so that I don’t have to transport. I have one at home, one upstairs, and one at my job. I use a four wheel scooter outdoors for activities, like going to the doctor& shopping. I’ve read some of the recent comments here and will say when indoors the speed should be reduced to 01, and that the joystick always needs to be in motion when backing up even if it’s just a little bit. There is a sales person that will come and show people how to use a Hoveround. If you don’t know how to use one, I could see where people would have trouble.. wiggle type Movement on the joystick reduces the amount of recoil and. “ bucking”. Hope this helps.

No tech support, no responses, I would be better off buying a Ford Pinto! Not to be trusted. And the BBB has the same stock answer. it is a canned answer. And the so-called human who answers that all he wants is the serial number, but will not tell you where it is located. Not BBB approved nor a member. NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL.

Chair fits between all door ways and the 360 ability makes it ideal for maneuvering in tight spaces. This is my second one after 6 years it was time to replace.

It is too powerful and difficult to drive for indoor use. It should have a "soft" mode for indoor use.

Wish I had read the reviews before buying the chair. The chair is not right for my bony, seat too short, arm rests too short, foot rest too short. Got the foot rest changed and the tires changed because it sounded like a motorcycle. Sainting to get approval for seat change. Worse chair I ever had.

My driveway has an approximate 30 degree slope at one point. The small tires on my Hoveround will spin unless the surface is completely dry. I think bigger tires would solve this problem.
