Very heavy for old people , plus it can not be returned.
the item is extremely heavy for my mom (74 year age). She could only use it for 10 min and after that start feeling the extreme weight. Plus the item is non returnable, so she is stuck with this. Not happy with the product.

Excellent!
Wow! I knew I would like the shape which fits across my shoulders and wraps around my neck, but I unexpectedly love the subtle, relaxing scent. Very calming. Excellent product.

Good quality, works great
Bought this for my 80 year old mother who is coming off a broken shoulder and it works great for her. A tad on the heavy side if one arm isn't working great but there isn't a way to avoid that if you want something that covers the neck and shoulders and holds a decent amount of heat. Doesn't smell bad to me or her but one of her friends thinks it stinks. The box says aromatherapy so I think it is mildly scented with something but clearly not all noses are created equal.

Tension Relief in a Cozy, Scented Wrap
Tension Relief in a Cozy, Scented Wrap As I’ve gotten older, I often wake up with a stiff neck or tight shoulders (maybe from the odd angles I sleep in or the DIY projects I tackle). This REVIX microwave heating pad has become my go-to remedy for those aches and pains. It’s essentially a U-shaped wrap filled with some kind of weighted clay beads or flaxseed, plus dried lavender. To use it, I pop it in the microwave – about 2 minutes in my 1000W microwave gets it plenty warm. It comes out nice and toasty, and I carefully drape it around my neck and shoulders. The shape is perfect: it sits across the shoulders and high up on the neck, almost like a warm shawl. It has a bit of weight (which I find comforting, almost like those weighted therapy wraps) that helps it press gently against sore spots. The heat penetration is wonderful and lasts a good while. I easily get 15-20 minutes of soothing warmth before it starts to cool down. If I want a longer session, I’ll reheat it for 30 seconds to a minute and go again. And can I talk about the lavender aroma? The moment you heat it, you get a gentle waft of natural lavender – not overpowering or artificial, just a calming scent. I was a bit skeptical about aromatherapy, but I have to say, it really adds to the relaxation. I’ll often use this in the evening while watching TV; it loosens up my muscles and the scent makes me feel like I’m at a spa. Sometimes I even drape it over my lap or knees if they’re achy from a long day – it’s versatile enough to use on any part of the body (though it’s clearly designed for neck/shoulders). One incident really proved its worth: I helped my son move furniture one weekend and woke up the next day with a kink in my neck that made it hard to turn my head. I heated up this pad and wore it while having my morning coffee. The combination of moist heat (it provides a slight moist heat effect which I think comes from the natural fillers) and the weight really helped loosen that knot. Within 20 minutes I had improved mobility and significantly less pain – much better than just popping a painkiller and waiting. I like that it provides drug-free relief and is reusable endlessly. The construction of the pad is high quality. It has a soft plush fabric on one side and a silky cotton on the other. I usually put the plush side against my skin – it’s incredibly soft. The stitching is solid; even after dozens of uses, none of the filler has leaked and it still feels evenly distributed. Do make sure to follow the heating instructions – the first time I used it, I overheated slightly (went past the recommended time) and it was almost too hot to handle. Now I stick to the guidelines and it’s perfect. As a safety habit, I always let it sit for a minute after microwaving to let any hot spots even out. Also, if you’re sensitive to scents, the lavender is noticeable but I personally find it pleasant and not perfumey. My wife, who is very sensitive to smells, actually commented that it’s a nice, natural aroma and not headache-inducing at all. In sum, this heating pad has become part of my self-care routine. It’s easy to use, feels great, and helps me unwind muscle tension and stress. Whether it’s a chilly evening or I’ve got a crick in my neck, I reach for this wrap and it never disappoints.
