Will these stay on a 7quart mixing bowl?

Hello! The silicone lid will not stay on a 7 quart mixing bowl. Thanks.

I want to freeze things, but the description says "40 0f(freezing) - do you mean "-40f"? (freezing=32f or below; -40f=-40c)...?

Dear customer: Hello, these silicone food covers, heat resistance from -40 ℉(freezing) up to 400 ℉, approximately from -40°C(freezing) up to 230°C.

Where are these made?

Dear customer: we offers you premium reusable silicone stretch lids are made in china.

How can I get rid of the smell ? I have soaked, washed, run them through the dishwasher, but my food still ends up tasting like silicone.

I have not encountered any such problems
