Very tight fit
Much tighter than original lids. Very hard to get on and off, but they do seal ...if you don't mind the struggle.

The code on the lid is the key to the fit
After 30+years of using the oval corningware dishes the lids were worn out. The code on the bottom is still readable so I took a chance on these being the correct lids. Now I am able to use these again as they fit perfectly. Food stays fresh and the containers are leakproof. No more yellowed misshapen lids that breaks off plastic particles into my food. Find the lid code and your Corning ware will be usable for years

Perfect fit for my Corning individual casserole dishes
I’ve had my Corning dishes for about 50 years. I’ve wondered many times if it would be possible to find new covers for them. I discovered the covers on Amazon quite by accident, and they fit! I was so excited because the old covers had become stiff and cracked. I’m absolutely thrilled to have new covers for my Corning dishes.

They fit great on the French white dishes that I have which the lid cracked from the freezer. Now I know not to open the lid until it is completely thawed.
