Disappointing and potentially unsafe
I started using the power adapter, but after a few days it stopped working. It would no longer power up, and it gave off a strange, concerning smell. Very disappointing and potentially unsafe.

2nd faulty product
This is the 3rd one I've had to return because it is faulty and output voltage is off. Listed as 5v, in fact is 4.7v. No quality control whatsoever

Amazing customer service, faulty DC Jack/Terminal
I have this power supply connected to an ESP-32 running WLED and an addressible RGB Strip (5 meter, 60 led/m, 300 led total, maximum possible draw of 18 amp, limited to 12 in software for the longevity of the power supply & strip.) Initially, the power supply worked with 0 issues with the positive and negative wires connected to the included DC Jack/Terminal. Unfortunately, after about a week of usage my lights suddenly stopped working and isolated the issue to be related to this power supply. The reason this product still has a 5 star review from me is the amazing customer support, I contacted them and within afew days of my original unit breaking I received a new one in the mail, but the story doesn't end there. While I was waiting for my replacement I discussed my issue with some others and read more reviews of this product, which had complained about the DC Jack, so when my new unit arrived I decided to investigate. And the other reviews were right, when I swapped out the Screw Terminal for the one in my replacement, the lights worked again, the actual power supply had never died, just the adapter. Unfortunately, after only afew hours of usage with the new adapter, I lost power ONCE AGAIN! I decided it's probably in my best interest to skip the adapter and to simply strip the wires on the power supply (if you think about it, it goes from wires, to male DC, to female DC, to a spot to plug in wires, to wires, it's simply one more point of failure.) Since I stripped the wires and connected it completely I have experienced 0 issues with the power supply, and would recommend it to someone else trying to make a diy argb lighting solution, but I would recommend them to strip the wires from the start rather than using the Terminal (and I belive I would recommend this regardless of the power supply used since I have gained knolege from this experience) Photo 1: Afformentioned Screw Terminal Photo 2: Lighting power solution after wired have been stripped

Works great for my 264 LED project
I own many Alitove products and keep coming back for more. All their products I've received have been flawless and this PSU is no different. I've been putting it under heavy load for a while now and it's working great. Highly recommended.

Works well
Used this to power some smart-RGB lights. Works great.

Works great!
Updated review: After getting contacted by the seller, a replacement power supply was shipped under warranty. The replacement works great! Original review: When connected to a small LED strip, the voltage drops to 4.95V. The female DC barrel connector is also defective and does not work properly (used another barrel connector I had on hand to test). The warranty request page on the manufacturer website is broken, hence returned the product.

Not enough power/unstable for WS2812B
Update 10-8-18: Customer service is working with me to resolve and diagnose the issues. Attaching the power to both ends appears to be solving the issue even without a capacitor as I had to use previously to get it partially functional. They have additionally sent me a working replacement of the two I purchased that have had no issues and did not require the power to be attached to both ends. I purchased two sets of these, returned the first one assuming I was just unlucky. The second set was not much better. Using an Arduino and WS2812B LED strips from same seller and I could get at most 1 change in color before they locked up, I assumed software or some other issue, but I had purchased a PS from them a couple of years ago and it worked fine, no problem even when voltage dropped near the end I could rapidly change the colors/brightness. I was able to get around the issue with the use of a capacitor on the newer ones, but I still could not go past about ~120 brightness depending on saturation before it would lock up while the older one (again same model) would do just fine at bright white, nothing else needed. Not sure if I'll settle or return and try a different brand, but after 4 and none working out of the box I would not recommend.
