Purely decorative, none of the black series lightsabers come battle ready. If you want battle ready I suggest saberforge or some other custom saber site.

Why is the difference between this and the galaxy edge one?

These are authentic Star Wars items and are the same high quality as the ones seen at Galaxy Edge. I am not familiar with the Galaxy Edge specific sabre, but these feel like a real light saber. Very nice items, perfect for any Star Wars fan.
