Multiply Numbers By Drawing Lines

I've never been great at math. I really wish this method had been taught in school. It really would've made math more enjoyable.

The system he presents is mildly interesting, but not enough to make even a small book.

Meh. Interesting for 30 minutes and then the obvious shortcomings of the concept become apparent. As far as getting someone (a young student) interested in math, it's probably a neat idea but wholly impractical for doing real math. It does produce interesting pictures, though, so there is potential to create "art" from math that could be interesting and good conversation pieces. I will play with that idea when I have more time.

Fun read. I enjoyed the relationship between geometry and numbers.
