The perfect path or Driveway light
I must have tried at least 5 different types of solar path lights before ordering these. I absolutely love how they look (you can have two heights). Along my driveway. Easy to assemble, plant and then forget them! What sold me on these particular lights was the brightness of each light which had been a real problem for my long driveway. I had estimated needing 20 lights in total so that people backing down my long narrow driveway wouldn't run off into shrubbery or the fence. With the other lights I tried they just were not bright enough and although I loved the price point for the other lights I tried and sent back I would have had to use double my estimate. Finally after much thought and reading of reviews I ordered the Bobcat Solar Path Lights with 300 Lumens. To reduce my initial cost I settled for 3 packs of 4 lights each pack or 12 lights altogether, reasoning that if they worked I could always order more. To my utter delight 12 lights were all I needed! The lights have settings to be bright white, warm light or off. The setting I use which is the white light shines so well that more than 1/2 the driveway is light requiring only one side of the driveway to need the lighting. Guests have raved at how bright it makes the driveway at night and they feel much better about backing down the drive. They also love the way they look, which is beautiful. You donโt notice them between the briar bushes and they are tall enough to get full sun. I love them and wish I had bit the bullet on purchased them way sooner. Now I am looking for other ways I can use these and other Bobcat Solar lights around yard, they really are quite nice. Specifics: directions say to plant in full sun for 2 days to fully charged I did but honestly donโt think it was necessary for that length of time they charge super fast and the light stays on all night till it is fully daylight. The material is mostly plastic but durable. I do recommend that you plant the spike deeply then attach the rest of the light assembly to prevent bending or splitting the post while trying to shove it in the ground. I recommend these lights they are bright, good looking and really complement any landscaping!

Amazingly Bright - 4 Years Still Going Strong
These were extremely expensive and I had certain reservations about purchasing. After having used them for 3 months now I can honestly say they were well worth the cost. These things put other solar-battery powered path lights in my neighborhood to shame - there is no comparison. The first time I charged them by placing just the lamp heads on a bench and facing them directly perpendicular to the sun all day. After installing them that same day, the ran ALL night long, about 12 hours as it was late November already. However, after the first day they only stayed lit for about 5 hours the next day, but that was only due to the early winter sun position being low in the southern sky already. There is just not enough direct sunlight in the winter to fully charge the lithium batteries yet due to the sunโs position low on the horizon relative to the solar panels on the lamps. Now that it is February and the sun is shifting back northward, I am getting about 8 hours of run time (6:00 pm to about 2:30 am). When I leave for work at 6:00 am I can just barely see some light coming from a few of the lights that get the most sun exposure during the day. I am confident once the summer time gets here and the sun is almost directly overhead during the day, these batteries will recharge fully and run all night long like they did on the first day I charged them by facing them directly to the sun. One thing to remember is you have to position the lamps in places that get unobstructed exposure to the sun to get maximum run times. This includes keeping them out of shadows of other plants in the yard. However, even on relatively cloudy days, you can still get several hours of run time when the sun first goes down. If the manufacturer could figure out a way to mount the solar panels on a tilting bracket that could be angled towards the sun, they could be used in many more places around the house that donโt get full sun exposure. I like the two piece poles and ease of installation. At first, I only used a half section of pole but later installed the second portion. The light definitely spreads farther with them mounted on two sections. I saw another reviewer disassemble one and mention the batteries could be serviced. Thatโs another positive as you have the ability to replace the batteries in a few years when they show signs of decreasing run times which they will surely do as all rechargeable batteries wear out over time. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the lights. Update: 11/2025. All lights still working 4 years after purchase. I refreshed the solar panel plastic covers that had clouded up with some 1500 grit sand paper and some automotive rubbing compound. Only one light is a bit dimmer than the others likely due to a failing battery. Will try to replace it soon.

Good quality, different options for height and temperature.
These may cost a little more but are very high quality and include extra segments to elevate it about 2 feet off the ground. I also like the fact that they offer a cool white option as opposed to a warm white. Your choice with the flick of a switchโ. I was impressed enough to order 8 more after an initial 12. Very bright and burn all night. You get what u pay for and these are worth the 10-12 dollars per light.

Donโt hesitate, if they look good to you, add to cart
Great lights, they look professionally installed. Nice and bright, even on the โsofterโ k-scale. So far so good, weโve purchased three sets altogether, used for pathway and driveway. Only drawback is the battery is not serviceable. Well we will just have to see about that when the time comes ..,

Exactly what I've been looking for... almost perfect....
First off, these lights are nowhere near 300 lumens... but with that said, I've been looking for a light exactly like these... my gardens are special to me, I've spent around $120,000 on my landscaping and lighting. The last thing I want to do is install wired lighting and use energy from the electrical grid. I've bought a lot of different types of lights, and these are closest to what I'm looking for - I bought 28 of these lights. * No glare when you're sitting in your yard... we live in Flagstaff Arizona, the world's first international dark sky city, I can see the milky way... I don't want to see lights, but don't want to fall when walking around. * Easy to install, just stick in the ground using a hammer or mallet. * Since the lights shine straight down from a flat surface this helps with the glare. * The extension rods are great... you get 4 per box, so you can install the lights with 1, 2, or 3 if you want to light up larger areas... For example, you can mix and match installations with 1 rod, 2 rods, 3 rods if you're installing on a ramp or hilly area. Suggestions for the manufacturer, please listen! * Choice of warm/cool white is dumb, just have warm white... you don't want harsh 'cool white' * Please have 3 brightness levels, that would be awesome... instead of warm/cool switch * Make the bottom clear plastic completely flush with the housing, it still hangs down a little bit so you do get a tiny bit of side glare, I'd like it to be perfectly flush. * The square area could be 1/4 of the size with the same effect... smaller is better in this case. * For the light head, would be great to have two connection areas for the stakes... I would like to use these to install vertically to light up walls and plants. * I love that you have the extension rods... would be nice to include 6 instead of 4 per box Great product, just a tiny bit of refinement for perfection... and trust me, I've gone through about 8 different types of lights after looking at hundreds and hundreds of different models...

DO NOT BUY. DEAD AFTER ONE MONTH.
couldnโt be more dissatisfied and disappointed in these expensive solar lights. I have them in direct sunlight, probably exposed to direct sunlight for at least nine hours per day. Never even tried to use them in the fall/winter months. Not even a month later, they do not appear to be charging and are dim to the point of serving no purpose at all. I couldโve bought something much much much cheaper for it to only work for a month.

Expensive
Great light but has to be in direct sun to charge. In winter the light only lasts 1 to 2 hours
