A work horse. Lasts forever with abuse.
Love this meter. Had another that lasted 5 years of abuse. Reasonably priced and is a work horse.

Beyond durable for a slight bit less accuracy.
I have purchased many budget ph meters. By far the best. It has been on the same set of batteries it came with over a year ago. I have dropped, submerged, and just unintentionally abraded this thing along every bend and it's is just now starting to show signs of needing a replacement probe. Does have about a .2 variance depending on how well the probe is seated in its socket. Would highly recommend for those who cannot afford more expensive options.

It dose not come with a suction cup for the probe
This device is easy to calibrate and mounts to a fish tank or wall adjacent to the fish tank nicely. This product is new to me so I’m still learning it however it seems to be pretty accurate or should I say very close to accurate my only issue with it is I believe if you have a device that’s made to be secured to a fish tank, and or a wall, there should be some kind of suction cup or bracket to secure the probe as well. This probe is an odd shape so it takes a little bit of customizing to make an average suction cup work. That’s really my only complaint at this point as far as the batteries go , this is been working with the set that came with it for just over three weeks now so it doesn’t appear to take or use up batteries very quickly. Hope this helps.

Surprised!
Wow I had it for a week and so far its working great! Exact temperature as my other thermometers and exact PH as my other other PH meters that were twice the price. This one costs less and has less wires because its battery powered and has a back light, the other ones I had don't so I really like this PH monitor. Update: sadly it stopped giving me accurate readings after a couple of months. The other ones I have from other brand have worked perfectly for about 3 years.

Does what it needs to do with proper maintenance
I have had nothing but success with this PH meter. The cheap yellow ones consistently die in half the lifespan of this mounted one. I am so stoked to be able to just glance at it and. Get what I need. I hope this company makes another with tds/edc on it, too! 100% would buy! ;) Word to the wise--clean it in purified or distilled water every couple weeks (submerge probe and swish it around). Save the tiny water bottle the probe comes in as well. Whenever you flush and refill your tank, wash the probe then use some fresh, pure water to fill the probe cover bottle 2/3rds full. Then wet the grommet of the probe cover ca0, slide the cap up the probe, submerge the probe in the water-filled bottle all the way, screw on the bottle to the cap. No pH meter likes air. This system completely removes that variable do I find the 3 cent cover it comes with to be a really good added benefit. Adding to this that it has died after about 2 years of constant use. Attempting to get a replacement pH probe.

So far so good
Just got the meter today. Didn’t have high hopes for it. Brand new I went to calibrate it to 7&10 and there was no need to they were dead on. Also checked my $7 hand held Amazon ph meter and it was off by a few 0.1’s. Hopefully it stays accurate and the only con I have is I wish it had an AC plug so I can keep the light on at all times. Just easier to see without walking up to it.

Will not calibrate in time
Held calibration for probably 6 months, went to calibrate it again, thing has a mind of its own. Watched the tutorials on YouTube 7x to make sure I didn't miss something, changed the batteries. Still no dice. It will only show the 4.0 calibration no matter what, then when I calibrate it to 4.01 and it saves the data it IMMEDIATELY starts drifting in the calibration solution. For $40 I'm actually surprised it worked this long but I can't give it 5 stars for that performance either.

GREAT OUT THE BOX!
just got this for DWC cloner. Out the box was calibrated to 10.15 when dropped in 10.01 buffer solution. So, pretty accurate right out the box. i did calibrate to 10.01 as per instructions, auto calibrated to 4.01 as the stick was placed in the next buffer solution. I am happy about batteries as I can put this where. I'm not sure if i would be happier if there was a dedicated power supply option. we shall see how well this holds up and how long it holds up for. Right now, I have it and will leave it in the cloner and monitor it a few times a day.
