Wow....I'm not sure what to say. I have two bengal kittens that I love dearly. They are everything to me...but I'm also a neat freak. I'm the guy who will wash an entire load of laundry twice just in case I forgot to start the washing machine the first time.... I'm the guy who has two vacuums....a light duty and a heavy duty cleaning one....and I use both every week.... But most importantly I am the guy who HATES smells. I can't stand homes that smell like animal, or old food, or just musty. It makes my skin crawl. Enter bengal kittens - they are well behaved and ALWAYS use the litter box but I would ocasionally walk by their box and catch a whiff of that "used litter" smell. This product has likely changed my life. I will continue to monitor and update the review - but it's been about 4 days and the product works incredibly well. I have yet to notice any litter smells at all. The product does emit a slight chlorine smell when it is put down but it quickly goes away and honestly it makes me feel better...because I know something is happening. My only complaint is obviously price, but I hope as the company grows they can scale production. I wish they would team up this product with Arm & Hammer or some other litter manufacturer to have it built straight into the litter itself. It is really fantastic, and the kitties couldn't care less. If you have a sensitive nose like me, be sure and give this a shot. I doubt you will be disappointed.

I recently picked up an extra litter box because my Litter-Robot alone just wasn’t enough for my two cats. One of my girls never covers her pee in a traditional box, which means the smell can get REALLY strong—especially in warm weather. This deodorizing powder has made a noticeable difference. I just spread the litter to cover the urine, sprinkle a bit of this on top, and the odor is significantly reduced until it’s time to scoop. It doesn’t completely eliminate the smell, but it definitely covers most of the strong odor and makes the litter area far more manageable. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey for the amount you get, which is why I’m giving it four stars. Still, the improvement is noticeable and appreciated, making it a solid option for anyone needing better odor control in a multi-cat household.

This works great for me. I sprinkle it in the litter after scooping an it keeps the odor from penetrating throughout the house. I recommend this product.

This product is effective in lessening the cat box odor but doesn’t totally eliminate it. I have 3 male cats (neutered) who share 3 large litter boxes and realistically, unless I scoop multiple times a day, I don’t think any product will totally eliminate the odor. Over the years I’ve tried more products than I can remember and this is the best one I’ve found. It’s easy to use, not messy, doesn’t bother the cats, arrives quickly, and it is effective. Price-wise? There are cheaper products out there, but when I find a product that does what I want, price isn’t my main priority. I have bought both the shakers and the large bag ( more economical) and refill the shakers (more convenient). The fact that I have continued buying this product for a long time is a testament to the fact I consider it a good product.

1. How I supposed to take the company’s word that this is safe for pets when the chlorine used as an ingredient is patented? Where is the proof of testing with safety for animals? 2. Why does it smell like chlorine so much? This is going to make my cats adverse to the litter box. I use a non scented litter because it makes my cats not smell like litter, and now they’re going to smell like chlorine instead. 3. Idk why the reviews are so good? I did a lot of research to find a safe deodorizer for my cats and this came up multiple times. Very sketchy.

Smells a bit like bleach at first but it does help cut down on litter box odor. Wish it came in a larger size though.

Most definitely helps to keep the smells down. I like that it’s simple to use, safe for my cats, and they are unbothered by it’s use.

This is good powder to keep litter box fresh. Unscented, clean scent. I like that it is safe for cats. Quite expensive so it got 4 instead of 5 stars.
