Works just fine. Absolute necessity for rimfire (22 WMR). Prevents firing pin damage when dry firing.

A must have if you own a 22 WMR Revolver and want to dry fire. I have used these for several 22 Magnum revolvers

They work great and I leave one round chambered to prevent dry firing and you can use these round to remove metal burrs from a new weapon after loading an ejecting a half dozen times it help prevent feed jams

Fit my 22wmr chamber easily straight from the magazine and protects the firing pin from damage when I release spring tension. They look so well made, I gave one to a friend who also has a 22wmr rifle.

They fit and feeds good. I wouldn't dry fire these because they are steel and could break your firing pin.

WARNING: DO NOT DRY FIRE USING THESE UNLESS YOU ARE POSITIVE THEY WILL NOT DAMAGE YOUR GUN'S FIRING PIN. They are well made and perfectly sized for practice ammunition loading and feeding, but as I write this review, my Henry Mares Leg pistol in .22 WMR is at Henry's warranty station for repair or replacement of the firing pin. I ran a box of ammunition through the gun and it functioned perfectly. Then got these snap caps so I could practice loading and dry firing without the usual concerns of damaging the firing pin by dry firing a rimfire weapon. I only dryfired the gun cycling 6 or 7 of these "snap cap" rounds, but the next time I went to the range, none of my live rounds would go off when fired. My gunsmith checked and indicated the firing pin had mushroomed and was stuck. To not void the warranty, she advised I send the gun to Henry for repair, which I did. I have not received it back yet, but I wanted to get this review posted to warn other prospective customers. As indicated, if you are only interested in practicing loading and feeding dummy ammunition, these are perfect, just don't think you can get away with dry firing. Judging by other reviews, some guns must be made so that dry firing on these snap caps doesn't damage the firing pin, but in my experience, not Henry firearms.

Arrived very quickly but were very clearly well used before I received them, all of the bottoms have been struck many times already as pictured which is annoying as I plan to display this in a cartridge collection and the uneven bases will prove problematic.
