This book is amazing. You do not have to kill yourself to know by heart the term because the problem set in the back of each chapter will keep you on track. All the data are very clear to understand. It a great book for beginners in this material...

The book covers the essential ideas while, at the same time, spares the student from any math beyond remedial algebra. It's intended for students who need to fulfill an institutional or regental science requirement but found out, because they procrastinated in registering, that all of the bonehead biology sections were already overfilled.

This seller was idhorrible, i recieved a book that which was not what the seller said it was and i requested a refund and its been almost two months and still waiting for my refund. do not buy from this seller, their bad business

The actual written portions of this textbook are generally very clear and helpful, but the editors have added a lot of confusing pictures and take up way to much space on each page defining basic terms. The new look of this work is really its greatest downfall. I would have like something a little more detailed and a little less patronizing.
