How many working amps?

This unit requires a cigarette lighter with a 15amp fuse. Most car lighters are 10amp. This will NOT work with a 10amp lighter. The fuse will blow as soon as you turn the unit on.

Is it safe to use a converter and plug this into a regular household electrical socket. Would such use damage the product?

YEs you can use a 115V AC to 12V Dc converter. The compressor does not care if it is a battery 12V (13.5V) or an AC to DC converter. There are tons of such converters available online. I use a brand called green power, 30amp 13V DC, bough it use with my radio controlled airplane battery chargers.

Would this inflate airbags on an air suspension?

I'm not sure. It will inflate a tire so I might meet your needs if it is the same or similar

Can use with sprinter extra long van?

There's about 12' from the 12V plug in to the end of the inflator tube. Measure with a string from your plugin to the tire stem to see.

Didnt last long

quiet and looks sturdy. but after just 5 months of once in a month use product was already inoperative! initially intermittent, then just gave up! plus it tripped the cars fuse twice during operation! not buying this brand again. for its price, theres lots other better and cheaper alternative
