SperryMen's Sea Kite Sport Moc Boat Shoe

Very nice product as most of the Sperry shoes are.

I fish 300+ hours a year in all types of conditions - these have been my go-to fishing shoe for years. They don't slip on a wet deck and my feet don't ache from poor support despite standing up all day.The only drawback is remedied by changing the fabric laces to full leather. Costs a few bucks but the laces then outlast the shoe.

I used to wear Sperry Topsiders 30 years ago. I moved up north for 9 years and I never replaced them. I saw these shoes, ordered, and was amazed. They fit great. And they look great.

I've been told that a bellwether for car manufacturers are the little things. Particularly, the stitching of the seats. If you can see that the stitching is close knit, it's possibly a small indication to the overall quality. large stitching, on the other hand, will save the company literally millions of dollars over the long run as opposed to close knit. Why do I bring this up?Shoelaces are the close stitching in shoes. Shoes are mostly shoes, but the laces are a quick and easy way to shave cents off a shoe.I've bought this shoe many times. The brown ones are great, the grey ones are also great. Their laces are these nice, thick, tough lace. The blue laces are about half the diameter. It's a quibble, but that's what reviews are for. The shoe's proportions actually look a biiiit different with the thin laces, and I'm not a huge fan. Everything else about the blue shoes is awesome, though.At the time of this review, these shoes cost $110. Normally, I would not spend this on a shoe, but I had some credit, so I splurged. But for over a HUNDRED dollars I expect an overall quality shoe. I'm probably going to get some thicker laces ... and lacing up this shoe is going to be brutal, but probably worth it to tighten the look up.Wanted to give 3 stars, but these ARE cool shoes ... so point added ...Sperry, if you've read this far, spend the extra twenty five cents and thicken up those blue laces.The skinniness of them is kind of ridiculous.

Love everything about them. Very comfy

Out of the box these were very comfortable, and lite, without rubbing anywhere. Grip on boat deck was excellent, though I'm not sure any shoe could have saved me from slipping overboard on the spilled diesel (the shoes dried out well!) I wear a normal size 11.5, and the size matched perfectly. All seams and stitching seem solid, and appeared new after about a couple dozen hours use over a week at sea - albeit on an otherwise pristine sailboat. Great shoe; I can't imagine better.

The color is wrongly picture, my previous pair and the pic show an orange/tan but I received a dark brown. Your customer service promptly sent another but the color is still dark brown, perhaps it is no longer made, change the pic
