This heavy duty box is going to work great. Very easy to set and use. The adjustable time switch can be set from dusk to dawn, or set how long the light will stay on at after dusk.

I just received my transformer and performed the test as instructed. The light would not stay on. After reading the "Warm Tips" (whatever that means), I noticed it said "If the transformer does not connect with load, it shows no output at terminals". I assume this means that the transformer will not generate any power if there is nothing connected to it. I checked my test light, and it only draws 2 W. Thinking this might be too low for the transformer to register, I added another such light and tested again with both lights connected. It worked fine. The moral of the story is that the transformer requires a minimum load of 3 or 4 W in order to work.

I have purchased two of these and the are a good buy for the money. A simple setup, two line capability with a simple design for how long the lights will be on. Easy to hang on a wall or building and so far no issues after about a year for one six months for the other.

This unit was very easy to install and the timer with photo cell is simple as can be with dusk to dawn,on off,and dusk with 2,3,4,5 and so on increments. A very good price point as well. I would recommend this product at this point. I have used only a week but very easy to operate and setup.

Works great.Update, after 9 mo, no longer functioning. lights won't go out even manually turning it to off.The only way to turn them off is unplug the unit.Been perfect till now but whatever type of relay they use probably went bad and stuck on.

No voltage out of connection even after reset.I tried to send back to Amazon but it was past 30 days. We didn’t install transformer when we received it because we had a lot of rain and husband didn’t want to play with electricity when it was wet outside. Disappointed that we have to keep this transformer when it doesn’t work. We were going to order another transformer but not now.

I only had the product for a little while but it seems to be built quite well. The only reason I couldn't give it a 5 star rating yet because I haven't owned it very long. But so far, it was easy to install, very easy to work which didn't require any programming. Only time will tell about being waterproof, but that was the main reason I bought it. My last transformer made by a different manufacturer, shorted out from rain. I will say one thing, if you are going to mount this to a wall, make sure you use very strong anchors. The screws they provided doesn't seem it would hold the weight of the unit.
