Falling apart after second use
UPDATE: After its second use, nuts and bolts on the inside of it have become disconnected from whatever they were doing and are now rattling around inside the base. Buy something else! It's a good idea in theory but the base is a bit light to hold a soldering iron. When removing the iron the whole thing shakes and moves around the worktable. Manipulating the large, heavy magnifying glass will also tip the base. If you can. clamp or bolt the base to your workbench because it's too shaky on its own. It feels overpriced and cheap in quality. Then I discovered (at least) two other vendors who sell the identical product (see photos for comparison) for 45% ($25) less. The lower-priced identical ones are more in line with value for money, given its questionable quality.

Perfect for light use
Works fine for light duty use. Anything with significant weight would topple this when attached

Very Good for price, and almost no cons. (Fast shipping)
PROS For the price range this is a very good product for what I need it for, which is painting miniatures. It has a coil on the side that is to put the hot soldering pen for electronics, but for me it can help to hold brushes or other things. LED Light is very good and the magnifying glass along with the 2 smaller auxiliary 5X and 8X glasses are handy. It is AC/DC power enabled, so that's useful if your power outlet is not at close range. SMALL CONS (this is just me being picky, but I like the product) Though the feel of the metal knobs when adjusting and repositioning the metal bars with clamps is not great (you can tell the material and construction is not AAA), you kinda' have to fasten them very hard so they're not loosen easily. Other small drawback is the short AC power cord it's like 2.5 or 3" long, but then again if you have an outlet or power strip close enough it shouldn't be a problem Packaging was a bit damaged, and the quality of the box was very low. Besides, after you put the helping hand all together it doesn't fit in the box so it doesn't encourage you to put it back in the box when you're not using it. For me it does the job just fine, and for the price I paid I'm very happy with the product.

Ok for price. Good for beginner level hobbyists
Smaller than I imagined. Makes for a bit of a cramped work station. Base fits in palm of hand. Top heavy. If magnifier is off center, it can topple. Light and clips work fine. 3 total adjusting knobs have manufacturing defects. Plastic from moulding process covers threads (see pic). Makes initial use a bit fiddly. The extra plastic will chip/wear off with use. Otherwise, knobs secure accessories firmly enough. Good for entry level. Will get the job done if you don't require a pro level craft station.

its okish.
For the Price its nice but it does not tighten up very well so when working sometimes it slides down with an accidental BUMP to the arm maybe add rubber stoppers on the bolt tips so they can tighten against the metal rods would be a great addition so it stays secure. would have gave 5 stars but the leds are weak too, you cant see anything using them so all they do is drain batteries and are useless. please use better LEDs thankyou
