Vifah Malibu Outdoor Bar Set

We love this product! Like many people our world had been filled with travel and restaurants -- until Covid-19. Suddenly, instead of the retirement travel we had planned on, our backyard has become our resort of choice. Just before our governor placed the stay-at-home orders, we received an ad from Pottery Barn for some outdoor furniture. We immediately ordered some lovely outdoor furniture for our never used open porch. It is lovely, and has turned our porch into a place that is better than the cruise ship verandah we had signed up for. It is pricey, though. We soon purchased an inflatable pool that has been better than any hotel plunge pool. The Dartmoor Outdoor 3-Piece Wood Bar Set has been the most wonderful addition. First, it is a much better value than the original furniture we ordered for our porch. Second, the delivery service was wonderful. It went beyond our regular pleasant delivery from Amazon. We received a telephone call that there was a bit of a back order. We explained that it was important to us to have this to complete my husband's retirement party -- which was now a party of two instead of world travel with friends and family. Dartmoor did what was needed to have it here with a couple of days to spare -- we thank you. We have been enjoying this ever since. My husband found the furniture very easy to assemble. We were pleased from the moment we opened the box. The quality was there -- we had been skeptical because of the price point. Even the screws and the way they did the bar seat joints was well thought out. We have placed it by the inflatable pool where we have enjoyed not only sunset, but my husband places his bluetooth speakers -- one on the table and one on the chair which he carries to the opposite side of the pool, for stereo effect while we swim. We keep a solar lantern on it so it looks beautiful at night. My sister-in-law sent us an Architectural Digest article on turning your backyard into a resort during Covid-19, and in it, it describes how a cocktail table is a must by your inflatable pool. I'm happy to say that our was on order before we read the article. I hope your business has been good since the article. We are very happy with it. We have even bought a Green Toy seaplane and helicopter that is fun to watch from placement on the table while we swim our current situation away. We are already planning for a dinner by our fireplace this winter using they Dartmoor set -- maybe even hot chocolate and Grand Marnier -- unfortunately, I think we are going to be here. Thank you very much Dartmoor for making this situation as pleasant as possible.

Very pleased with the product...just as pictured. Easy to assemble, sturdy and attractive furniture. I suggest being careful when assembling. The bolts are a little soft if you use a hex wrench with drill motor. Go slow and it will be fine or use the manual hex wrenches provided. Overall, exactly what I ordered.

This this looks great but it’s terribly made!! the hardware doesn’t fit the in the pre-drilled holes!I even used a power drill after I realized that the tool provided wouldn’t do the job. The holes are SO off centered and SO small the power drill wouldn’t help!!Don’t even bother! Please spare yourself the money and frustration!

I don't understand why this got some negative reviews. It is a great set of furniture at a great price. Shipping was fast and convenient, and the set went together very easily. It looks great on our deck, and is very sturdy. We ordered two more of the stools as well.

Frustrating! The set looks great and is sturdy. However, if I was not handy or didn't hate returning items this review would be a 1 star. Each of the 3 pieces had something wrong with it. One chair had the wrong hardware, the other's holes were not drilled correctly and I had to drill them myself. Not so bad, they came together and look good. The table though: a pre-assembled pieces was broken, and the wood glue splintered the piece it was supposed to be attached to, and the screw holes were stripped where they were ripped out.Thus, when all is done the set is 5 out of 5!The assembly/hardware/care of packaging is 1 out of 5.

I love the set and it was super easy to put together but noticed that the wood is splitting. This is disappointing especially considering the cost of the set. Im now questioning the quality and if it’s going to make it even one season.Updated my rating because it is now clearly showing wear and it hasn’t even been a year. Very disappointed in this product snd that the return window is closed - I would return it ASAP

This item was a bit of a pain to assemble. Screw holes seemed misaligned and I could hear wood cracking as I tightened bolts. Ultimately good looking. Wood surface could be better polished/sanded. Hoping it stands up to Texas sun. Get cushions!

I love this patio set for my apartment patio. Not too big, but not to small. I am considering sawing 2-4 inches off of everything though because it is very tall and a little awkward "climbing" into the seats. I am not tall or short by any means (5'4") and even my taller friends have commented on it's height. The color is beautiful and I like the workmanship. Very sturdy (minus the ability to rock a little in the chairs because of their height). Would definitely recommend.
