Great to keep busy young builders busy. Would have labbelled the parts to assist young builders but otherwise fantastic

I bought this for my then 7 year old. He loved them. I think he made them all in one day. They were easy for him to put together on his own. We currently use the open topped box to hold all our pens/pencils in our kitchen. The bank is full of his spare change. He even decided to give them his own flare.

I bought this for my kids to have something to tinker with during the summer. Something they could use a hammer 🔨 and nails and screws 🔩with. First- none of the parts are labeled so I highly recommend you going through from the start and labeling the pieces or your kids will become quite frustrated. Second- the wood is a cheap wood and splits very easily so the kids kinda have to be almost perfect when nailing two pieces together. My daughter split the wood and had to remove the nail and just used the wood glue. Third- since there’s only pictures for instructions, this wouldn’t work well for kids who understand better by reading than with visuals. Fourth- My kids were quite upset to learn that many of the pieces had to be glued together which meant that the project had to be completed in multiple settings. Also, you’d think that since many of the pieces had to be glued, they would’ve provided a clamp 🗜 to hold the pieces while they were drying, but nope. Fifth- some of the pieces needed to be screwed 🔩 into place and although they provided the screws, they didn’t provide a 🪛screw driver. This probably wouldn’t have been such an issue if they hadn’t included a hammer 🔨 for the nails. It’s just a weird thing to do. Overall my kids enjoyed working on this but were quite frustrated with the things I listed above and got bored easily with it so I would not buy this again, gift it to anyone, or recommend it to anyone.

Average building kit, definitely not worth the money

When trying to put these together, we ran into multiple instances where the screws were not long enough to connect the pieces we needed to join. We had to glue a lot more than expected and ran out of glue. If you have your own supplies it's fine - it has a good amount of projects for the money and the wood is sturdy - but if you want a plug-and-play activity, buy something else.
