My groomer told me about this brush. I must say I’m pleased. My long hair dachshund doesn’t mind at all I easily brush her daily. I research the proper size and bristle for small long hair. The bristles are soft. You will need a bigger brush for like a German shepherd or a Labrador. Gets the hair that’s close to skin. Best brush so far for her. Easy to use. This one for small dogs works well. Not much hair in brush because I brush her daily

The first show tech brush we got for our shih tzu was given to us by our groomer when he was about a year old. He’s now 7. We have used these brushes ever since. We brush the whole dog in the morning, and the face and tail again in the evening. So the brush definitely gets used. It is soft enough to make the brushing comfortable yet very effective at getting into the hair and catch any tangle. Easy to clean. Long lasting and well priced.

I groom dogs. This brush is softer than a lot of brushes of this type. It is gentler on the skin. It doesn't "grab" the matts quite as well as other stiffer versions, however it definitely gets the job done! It also doesn't scratch the dog's skin nearly as much, which is more important to me. Some dogs are more sensitive and can't handle the stiffer pinned brushes.

I think it works better than you know who’s brush and I used that one for years this one is lighter and more ergonomic I don’t get tired of brushing and is more economical

I like this brush a lot. I find myself reaching for it more than my Chris Christensen coral slicker. Pins are softer and more flexible, my poodle seems to not mind this one as much. Good size, nice curve, comfortable handle, and works well to get the tangles out.

My mini goldendoodle has two coats - hair on the outside and a thick wooly coat underneath. Keeps her warm but a challenge to groom. I had tried several brushes but they weren't effective at reaching the undercoat. My daughter, who has a mgd pup, told me about this slicker brush. Believe what you read in the description. The bristles are long, curved, and flexible. Aspen may look like a fluff ball but she is warm and tangle free. And she enjoys being groomed.

I have a short haired cat who has a very dense undercoat that has become unmanageable since we moved from Texas to Ohio. That undercoat sheds all year around now, and my regular slicker brush couldn't cope with the volume. This slicker makes short work of the coat that is blowing, and it's also helping to take out the guard hairs that she sheds so freely. Complaints: The curved shape would be better as the traditional "flat" shape for me, though that may simply be what I'm used to. The real problem here is the hard plastic handle. It's not easy to keep hold of even though there are indentations for your fingers and the handle is textured. It still feels to me like it's going to fly out of my hand, and it makes it difficult to brush with the right amount of pressure. Changing this to a silicon handle would make it a five star product in my book.

Excellent for brushing out a doodle, poodle, or other long-coated breeds. Sturdy material, medium-length "long pins" with that little hook design that helps to fluff the coat. Excellent value.
