Excellent quality vanilla beans. Package is vacuum sealed and when you open it up the smell of fresh whole vanilla beans fills the air. The beans are dried but still moist enough to work with very easily. If you want them dryer, just hang them out for a while in a safe drying area. These beans are beautiful in color, size and shape and are free of abrasions. We have made vanilla extract, paste and syrup from these beans as well as french vanilla ice cream and every time we get the best vanilla flavoring in all of our goods. Organic vanilla beans fluctuate in price and these are not only the best quality but the best priced at any given time. I bought these to make a vanilla extract as well as vanilla paste and they are fantastic! Great flavor, great smell, moist, sticky, in just the right way and my favoriteto work with! I will definitely be buying more of these in the future!

Bought these to make homemade vanilla extract. Going great so far, just started in May. The beans were very nice and plump... not dried out at all. Can't wait for holiday baking.

I received my beans yesterday. I couldn’t believe that there could be 50 in such a small package so I counted them. 50, right on the dot. They smell great and are not dried out at all. However, they are small. All of them are 5-51/2 inches. None are larger. The ad says they are 5-7”, so technically they are. I’m sure they will work fine for my extract.

Used these to make vanilla paste, extract, and used the leftovers to make French vanilla ice cream. It was some of the best French vanilla that I’ve had, the vanilla paste is exceptional, and the extract has another few months before it’s ready, but I’m very much looking forward to trying it. Many different things you can do with these vanilla beans, and they seem so much higher quality than the ones you can buy in the store which are the same price as this for a single pod. If you’re at all interested in making your own vanilla based things, this is a no brainer
