Good product. Bright but small enough to not encumber the life jacket (or donut throw). This is turned on manually. Have not tested in real life or death situation but I am confirmable with the quality. The one on the donut sits outside all the time and I periodically twist it to make sure it comes on. No failures.

IT ONLY WORKS IN THE DARK!!I was about to return these and then I decided to read the instructions. What an idea!! Well they work just fine. It emits a flashing red light. Pretty darn good for the price, boat stuff is exxxpensive.

Bright strobing light , probably best suited for biking or walking streets or day hikes that are not in dense forest. I would upgrade to a more powerful light if this light is intended for survival in an ocean environment.

Just what the title says. A personal life jacket locator beacon. Manual operation only which is what I wanted as a kayaker gets wet more often than needing to get located. This is NOT a Coast Guard Approved Emergency Flair with 3 mile visibility and a SOS signal

I was, at least, somewhat disappointed with this product. I was expecting a bright strobe flashing light but that's not what this is. The LED is not especially bright and simply turns on and off; not exactly flashing. I'd not want this to be the only thing I had to save my life in the water at night.

Great product - easily seen at night. Very easily attached to oral inflation tube inside inflatable life jacket with whistle. As someone who has fallen overboard without a whistle or light - This is a lifesaver!

Very good quality. Use regular batteries.

I own 11 and have to replace an average of one per year due to equipment failure. Concerning for a product that can make a life and death difference.

Yo compré una unidad para usar como complemento de seguridad de los chalecos salvavidas en mi velero. Mi primera decepción es que esperaba una luz "Strobe", que generalmente se interpreta como destelleante pero no pasa de ser una luz intermitente muy normalita. La segunda decepción es que pensaba usarlo atado al chaleco salvavidas, contando que flotaba, pero al contrario, se hunde por el peso de las pilas, y debajo del agua esa tenue luz es prácticamente inútil. Intentaré darle uso añadiendo a su alrededor un anillo flotador.

Klein und handlich, gut an der Rettungsweste anzubringen. Zum Glück musste ich es noch nicht anwenden. Gutes Design bei guter Technik.
