Dash Tasti-Crisp Digital Air Fryer, 2.6 Quart, Aqua

Purchased after a CR review. Like that it is light-weight, digital controls, a nice size for two. Very easy to clean compared to our older one with metal basket. Good value.

I bought this appliance two years ago. I was looking for something as quiet as possible and not too bulky, and it did not disappoint. My husband and I have been using it regularly for the past two years, and we have always been very happy with the results. It cooks evenly, is easy to use, and fits well in the kitchen without taking too much space. After two years, the non-stick coating on the grill has started to wear a little. I hesitated to replace the whole unit, but I was happy to find that replacement grills are available, which is a big plus. One piece of advice: do not put the basket in the dishwasher. After two years, the color has started to peel. It is not a safety issue as long as food does not touch the sides, and using a silicone insert solves the problem completely. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I got this one because of the size and it looked easy to use. I love the size. Cooks fast. Easy to program ! I get confused easily! Doesn’t get hot on the outside. Good price. Very quiet. It’s only me so it’s really perfect for everything I cook. Not a full size sweet potato. Easy to clean. Good gift for someone with a small area . Also for someone who has trouble with settings!

Nice compact size. Good size when cooking for one or two. Food cooks quickly and is crisp Fairly easy to use even if you are legally blind. The compartment resists being replaced. We have to shove it in and yank it out to get to the food.

Only had for a week, used four times. So far, am loving it. Came from using the Ninja Foodi Grill air fryer, the darn thing was so heavy and large, I wanted a smaller and more convenient option after my husband died, because I did not want to use it, he was the machine operator! This air fryer was described in an article by a well known print and digital consumer reporting magazine, as a recommended option. I felt like it was worth trying. Opted for the regular non-stick model because I planned to use parchment in the basket to make cleanup easier and preserve the non-stick coating, as well as the cost difference between it and the ceramic model. I've since learned I may want to try the perforated parchment, what I bought is not perforated, so am curious about air flow differences. Also discovered a hack stating that placing the non-perforated liner baskets in the very bottom of the fryer, under the perforated crisper tray works. I have not tried that yet. Pros for me are the unit's small size and weight, handle on top, QUIET operation (actually thought it wasn't working until I began to smell the food!). Being used to the noise of the Foodi, this quietness was a pleasant shock. Also pre-heating is not a requirement, (but recommended) depending on food choices. Since it is not required, there is no ready made pre-heat setting, but I think you could easily program one of the three available preset options for that purpose. I've only done frozen potstickers and frozen chicken wing parts so far, both with and without oil. I chose olive oil delivered via a fine spray mister. Still have more to experiment with, but with & without oil, with & without parchment basket liners, I saw no difference in crispness. The frozen chicken wing parts will not be something I purchase again though, as they are so full of water, that cooking them from a frozen state results in a swimming pool of liquid and does not yield anything crisp. Recommend thawing those and making sure to use pressure and paper towels to squish wetness out before cooking. Anxious to try "fresh" (non-frozen) wings instead. All in all, this feels like a quality unit, that if used properly should do the trick for my purposes. I do feel like the instructions could be a bit more detailed, I prefer an easy to reference chart, which is shown, but is split onto two pages in the manual. A special note, if you register your air fryer, Dash adds an additional year to the warranty. We shall see how that works out!

I picked this Dash Tasti-Crisp air fryer for my tiny apartment kitchen. At 2.6 quarts, it’s ideal for cooking quick meals for just me and my partner. Adjustable temperature settings are simple to operate, and the auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind. The basket can go straight into the dishwasher, so cleanup is super fast. It makes crispy fries and chicken bites in minutes without taking up too much counter space. I love this little machine for easy weeknight dinners.

This worked great until the insert tray started to warp and not close correctly causing it to auto shutoff. Kind of flimsy but I guess $50 only gets you a throw away appliance.

Me encantó mi freidora, llevo casi más de un año con ella y no me ha fallado. He podido cocinar en ella hasta panqués y cupcakes. Es muy pequeña de capacidad pero no hace nada de ruido y cabe en cualquier parte. Lo único que si no he podido es quitarle todo el cochambre que se le va haciendo en la charola pero es muy fácil de manejar. En cuanto a la comida salada queda bastante crujiente sin la necesidad de aceite.

This is so perfect for a family of 2. Does all veggies so great. Baby potatoes done great, roasted. Fish and chicken really good. I have recommended this to small families, very compact and east to use and clean.

This little unit is perfect for a single person or even a couple. It runs well and does everything just as described. I love it for when you order fries to be delivered and they are cold when they get to you. I have the air fryer already setup and ready to go when the fries get here. Simply put them in the fryer for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees and voila!!! Perfectly reheated, crispy french fries! Compact and easy to store as well.
