Fantastic

Ordered twice, both arrived broken from UK to Australia. First time was the water tank cracked, 2nd time the plastic stand was broken. See pics attached. A complete waste of time.

This machine makes excellent filter coffee. It's a very well engineered machine that has been built to last with spare parts available. The transparent water tank makes it straightforward to fill to the appropriate water level. The brewed coffee is kept hot in the supplied stainless steel jug. A few sample filter papers are supplied along with a sachet of descaling fluid.

Everything I had read prior to purchasing this coffee machine was `00% true. It makes a superlative cup of coffee. I was skeptical about some of the claims referring to the accuracy of the water temperature meaning that the coffee would be smoother without any bitterness, but this is absolutely the case. The machine is only about a week old, so maybe I am jumping the gun, but it makes such a fantastic cup of coffee that I had to write a positive review. I would recommend a thousand time over. It is not the cheapest coffee machine, but if you love your coffee, this is a bargain. You could pay half the price for a cheaper machine, but the coffee would not be close to being as good.

I’ve wanted one of these for ages, and I’m so happy I got one. Nice easy to use machine that turns off everything other than the low power light in the switch when it has put all the water through, with a carafe that keeps coffee hot and still tasty (not stewed like coffee machines with hot plates). I had to go out to complete an assessment and left half a pot of coffee - came back almost 4 hours later and the thermal carafe (proper mirrored glass vacuum flask) had kept it hot - hot enough that I couldn’t just gulp it down - very impressive. Makes wonderful coffee, uses standard, readily available filters, and it keeps it hot without stewing it or wasting electricity UPDATE… This weekend my other half knocked the carafe off of the worktop into our concrete tiled floor… Knowing it has a glass thermos liner, she was convinced it must be broken - it hadn’t even dented the surface of the stainless steel outer or the plastic bits. The glass lining in the carafe was my one worry regarding the longevity of the machine, but it seems to be pretty darn robust. I would have recommended this machine anyway, but now, I’d recommend it within any reservations

Firstly this is expensive,but if you like coffee this is the ONLY coffee maker to get.had may filter coffee makers before some quite expensive but always underwhelmed by the insipid lukewarm results.This brews a piping hot full flavored jug of java EVERY time,Some little tips buy a burr coffee grinder and grind your own beans this does taste better and always put the correct amount in the filter.The coffee stays piping hot for 3/4 hours without any loss of taste,its well built and should last for years.
