No. This is a one and done pen. I love them great fine point, precise ink placement.

Is this archival quality?

No. If you want that, go with Sakura pens. High quality make, and is of archival quality.

Can I use pens on canvas?

Depends on if the canvas has a seal or primer on it. These are very fine point meant for paper.

Is there a retractable version of this pen?

No that... that's not how these types of pens work. The pen is specifically designed this way for the best effect, but putting a retractable system in it would limit the ink it can have and it just wouldn't be a good idea
