Do I need to cure the cast-iron griddle ?

We suggest caring for it like any other cast iron product.

How does this hang/store in the grill stand when not in use, as listed in the features on the back of the box?

If not in use you can remove it. Typically its left inside and the other side is used to grill on. -Josh K

I would love to find the perfect carry case for my griddle, does Napoleon have one? Any ideas anyone?

Sorry Napoleon doesnt offer a carry case.

What type of propane tank does it use ? Small green ones you can pick up @ Walmart

This particular page is displaying the commercial reversible griddle. However, the Napoleon TQ285 does utilize a 1LB propane tank.

A Must Have for your Napoleon 56080 Griddle

Cast iron heats up quickly. Covers half of the griddle cooking area to free up other half of cooking area. Keep it oil seasoned and it will outlast the heating element. Great for fast fry steaks, fried eggs, bacon, burgers, fried onions, etc etc etc.

Perfect for the travel-q!

Perfect fit for the travel-q! Worthwhile for small veggies, cooking on indirect heat, or anything requiring a flat top. Season it before use, and grill away! You won’t regret it!

Fits perfectly.

Bought two so I could make my Travel Q into a griddle top. There is a lip along the center edge which doesn't make it ideal to use two plates. Otherwise, a single plate works as intended.
