Bought this bookshelf as we had too many books. I was satisfied building the shelf as I did not run into any issues and it was straight forward and simple to assemble. The design is simple and clean, not taking up too much space in my living room and would work perfect in any kind of room as a highly accessible bookshelf unit! I would definitely recommend checking out this product, as I have had no issues with the seller, product or shipping and would definitely buy again!

The attachment of the bottom diagonal shelf to the horizontal base is inadequate. Requires small screws to be driven at an angle into manufactured wood without an adequate pilot hole or some sort of metal bracket to assure a strong attachment at the base where it is needed most. I’m afraid the unit will fail in time loaded with books.

Why, you ask? BECAUSE THE DOGGONE HOLES DIDN'T LINE UP! What should have taken maybe 30 minutes instead took over two hours. The instructions were sketchy so after leaving it in the box since Christmas I asked a BFF to come over and help. Between us we finally got it done but the chances of me EVER getting this again is zero. I’m giving it three stars because it looks good and it “almost” holds all my HNR books. Unless you’re handy and have a drill / or a great deal of patience, honestly I’d pass this up. Or have a wonderful BFF who’ll help. A lot.

Was able to put the whole thing together in an hour with the screws and Alan key provided. I messed up a few times in the beginning and had to unscrew, but once you get the hang of the pattern it’s repetitive! I have it sitting on carpet in a corner of the room, and I didn’t have to anchor it to my wall. I put my heaviest books on bottom, lightest on top shelves and it naturally leans back more instead of forward. I would definitely probably use the anchoring kit though in homes with high energy pets or children safety though! It came with everything I needed and nothing was missing! Very tall and gives the room character. Very sturdy and heavy book shelf, will definitely buy again in the future.
