I hesitated to get this product based on some of the reviews. Then, I had some extra money and figured I'd give it a go. After all, some people mistreat their products and then complain. So, I read the instructions and followed them all. One thing I note is that they don't recommend recharging when it is wet. When the item came, I loaded it up with songs and used it during a workout in the pool. Then, I brought it to my next workout and it shut off and didn't seem to work properly. I thought, "great! here we go." I plugged it in at home to see if it needed a charge, and the computer wouldn't even find it. I then noticed a bit of dampness on the jack. I tried to dry it out a little, then it found the device. So, they mean what they say that it should be dry when you charge it. I fully charged it--no more than 3 hours per the instructions!--and it worked great during my next workout. The one thing I notice is that there isn't a clear way to see how the battery life is. Supposedly, the flashing light will indicate if the battery is low. But, if you have it affixed to your goggle strap, you're not looking at that. I suppose you could check it before your workout. But, it would be nice if I could plug it in and see the battery charge amount displayed. As far as sound quality, it's pretty decent. It's not up to par with the Sansa Move, or an iPod. It sounds a bit muffled by comparison with other mp3 players. BUT--those aren't meant to play underwater. And, the sound has to go through earplugs. With all that in mind, I'd say these have pretty decent sound quality. I'd also say that if you use the plugs, use the vaseline to put the plugs in. that really helps form a seal and keeps the sound good. I noticed that I didn't have as much on one plug and the sound kicked out on that side until I adjusted it in my ear. So, for those who had sound cutting out, maybe they didn't have it coated with the vaseline goo? It's possible. I'm sure that stuff keeps water out of the sound components, too, so the device will last longer. Anyway, to have music while I swim is great. I'd recommend this product. It's affordable and works.

This little device has changed my daily pool lap routine with adding music while swimming. Sound is great under water, blocks out 90% of noise but I do hear my splashes extremely faintly,Clips to my goggles. Ear buds keep out the water better than my regular ear plugs when using the gel that comes with the device. Absolutely recommend this mp3 player. Easy to use and download music.

Il est tout petit et très pratique, les écouteurs sont ergonomiques et tiennent bien meme en crawl, le son est plus que correct. J'ai eu plusieurs lecteurs mais celui ci est de loin celui que je préfère pour'accompagner et me distraire pendant mes longueurs en piscine

For the price this product has amazing sound quality. It comes with a water hair care product and some gel for helping earphones seal in the ear. The MP4 player is easy to load with music, just copy them and paste from your playlist onto the player. Lasts about 6-7 hours on a fully charged battery. I recently did a 18km swim for charity and the MP4 player was fantastic for entertainment and did not fail me.
