I Am a personal trainer as well as teach a boot camp classes a week. I constantly get knots and kinks that need to be worked out. Massages are expensive on a regular basis. This thing helps me get everywhere. I need to get to get all the kinks out to where I can keep working and doing what I do. Super inexpensive way to be able to reach any part of your body for total body wellness

This thingy gets into all those sore, hard to reach areas that would otherwise make you want a massage. The curved shape and the extra spike handles provide lots of leverage for putting pressure on a specific spot on your back or shoulders, and the round knobs are perfect for working the neck or the bottom of your feet. Some knobs have a sharper point than others which you can use to your advantage. It came with a roller bar that I haven't used very much but I like the hefty feel of it and the rings move smoothly so I imagine it does a good job. My only complaint--and this is a true concern--is the garish blue plastic that belongs on children's toys. It is so obnoxious that I hide the device when I'm not using it.

I got the back cane. But I did not receive the muscle roller. Its very disappointing because I paid to get both but I only got one of the items

This has been helpful for working out my back. Pros: - Option for sharp and blunt points, so you can choose how hard you work the muscle. - lots of options for all over your body - roller bar works really well on the legs - solid feel. I'm a strong, 6' tall guy and I haven't gotten closer to bending this thing. - great for post-workout stretching - I really love the two side-by-side points for the muscles that run along your spine. - comes with a brief instruction manual so you can figure out how to access all the various muscles in your body Cons - like any non-electric messager, you still have to flex your muscles to make it work - sometimes the extra points can feel like they get in the way. - comes with an instruction manual - since not all the points are easily used.

I get a lot of stress knots in my shoulders and down into my shoulder blades from sitting all day at work and probably my poor body positions/ergonomics. I was hoping this would help me reach the shoulder blade area better with more pressure and boy has it delivered. It is very sturdy and the bumps and curves and handles were designed right. I’m just in week two still figuring out the best positions for shoulders and lower back but getting good results there too. But for shoulder blades this is really like heaven when I have a knot that just won’t leave. Looking for a way to give a sixth star - literally life changing at times!

TL;DR- buy it. You won’t regret it. This is by far the best $30 I’ve ever spent. I’ve had this thing for a month or so now, and even if it were to break tomorrow, or last week, I’d still buy it again and again. As the family masseuse, no one can dig into my shoulders and back the way I need, but this bad boy, man it pays for itself on the first use. I absolutely love the two ball points on the inside of the big loop. I put that part around some tight muscles in my neck, leaned my arm of the side I was working on into the loop, and pulled with the other hand. It was such an intense pressure I froze up until I managed to relax about 15 seconds after. That knot went from feeling like a bone to feeling like stiff muscle in no time flat. I’ve almost completely released my neck tension now, taking out 2 decades worth of stiff necks from bad sleep, staring down at my phone too often, and a hundred other crick-in-the-neck-inducing incidents. In just about a month of casual working on it. And the stupid thing is so durable! I love it! I can put full upper torso pressure on it and it’s not even phased! Seriously. A must have for any with back, neck or even arm/leg issues with no one to work on them.

Received the massage stick but didn't receive the Back Buddy trigger point device on 11-14 order Had to order replacement tool on 11-24. Need refund processed for missing item
