My photos closely reveal the actual color, metallic silver. This film is has a stronger, thicker backing than others, and a clear protective coating as well. The protective coating is to be removed when you choose, knifeless tape didn't work well with the coating on. Don't forget to remove it, the high gloss is underneath. I used this film and another color to cover the heat-grabbing, black sunroof glass on my car. I wet apply with slightly soapy water since I work alone. I find it easier to work, and more forgiving of mistakes. I've never had any problems with adhesion, but since manufacturers don't speak of it, I'll leave that decision to you.

Great wrap if it’s for small things, personally did my headlights for an angry look and it works good , sticks good, just have to overlay it for no light to shine through.

This was my first time working with a wrap. I had two narrow pieces on the rear hatch of a (2014) Honda Crosstour that were losing their paint. Cleaned the surface, prepped it with alcohol, and cut the pieces. Second one came out better than the first since I learned a few things on the first piece. It's been a few weeks and it appears to be holding up well. The match (just got lucky) is pretty outstanding.

The other reviews weren’t kidding, it really does look like paint with its depth of color, flake, and high gloss. It’s not quite as easy to work with as 3M, but I think it’s partly because of its thickness. Still easy to work with. The color matched my Audi silver almost perfectly, the only difference can be seen in direct sunlight because of the more grainy flake, but most people wouldn’t notice. Best part is the lights shine through at night so you don’t lose the functionality of the marker lights. Highly recommended!

Quality product. I only gave 3 stars because of the vinyl being shipped in without any packaging. The edges were an all beat up and the roll was bent.

Yes, the VINYL wrap is JUST LIKE PAINT! It has the DEPTH and SPARKLE matching actual paint. There is however a price for this deep sparkle and it is flexibility. I purchased to add detailing; I had begun adding a large piece to the fender - this became a frustrating disaster as it did not want to contour to the fender's organic oval shape. Quickly abandoned the aggravating effort. (Had the fender NOT been mounted it "may" have been possible.) Cannot complain about difficulty to wrap as this is the price of having a THICK DEEP JUST LIKE PAINT SPARKLE. Only wish it was tackier once heat is applied - hopefully the bond will increase over time. (Public use & reproduction permitted.) Once you get the hang of it, this material is incredibly easy to work with. I am a complete amateur at any kind of wrapping or vinyl application. I wanted to add some stripes to my car, and I have had very limited success with other vinyl materials. This was my third try (I made a mess of the first one, and the second was ok, but not great), so my expectations were pretty low. But this stuff went on great, even over curves (where the previous vinyl was a problem). The key is to use heat, lots of heat. It needs to be stretched to conform to different shapes. Once it's warm, it will do almost anything. If you have somebody to help keep it warm while you apply it, it's much easier. You can't beat the price, either. Would/will definitely buy again.

Wow, I'm not a newbie with vinyl but I've never had much luck. Something always goes wrong for one reason or another. This was the first time it when prefect. Had a few difficult areas and this film handled it better than any other I have tried. The clear cap stretches as advertised and when i was all done it peeled of with ease. Super nice color as well. This film should be great for all talent stacks and provides great results. Give it a try!
