The sunshade is made out of a quite weighty material with a plastic coating that is flocked, giving it a matte finish. This helps to prevent reflections on the screen and really does make a nice dark bed for the phone to sit in. The magnets "click" nicely into place, holding the sunshade together well. It feels pretty sturdy once fitted. The whole sunshade is held in place by the lugs that hold the phone so once fitted, which only takes a few seconds the whole lot stays in place perfectly. I shook it quite hard the first time and couldn't get it to fall off. It doesn't get in the way of the cable fitting. My phone has the cable connector on the bottom. As a bonus it fits perfectly into the document pocket in the case supplied with the Mini 2 fly more so it can be carried with the drone at all times.

After you get used to the fitting of it and the placement of the phone and the phone connector in the side its a great addition for when its bright sunlight, only niggle is trying to get to some screen icons on the DJI Go Fly app screen. It’s well made and fits together a treat with the magnetic flaps, I cut the small flap off where it goes into the phone as it was proving a right pain in the bum!! lol. But overall a good purchase if a little pricey but the good outweighs the negatives, would I recommend it? Yes.

I bought to use with iPhone 12 Pro Max and Mavic Mini 2 controller as an aid to seeing the screen in bright sunlight. The shade is reasonably easy to fit to the controller and has cutaways in the right places so that the iPhone can be attached. The hood shades the phone from top and sides and does make the screen a little easier to see in bright sun but personally where possible I find it better to stand in the shade of a tree or other structure and only fit the sunshade if there is no alternative. The sunshade folds flat when not in use and fits into the case that came with my Mavic Mini.

Sturdy, does the job, folds down nice and compact, however can be a bit fiddly to fit when in the field, and for what the item is it seems very overpriced… However if you want your screen shadimg and money is not a factor then this could be for you. Should add, I use this with a mini 2 and a Huawei P30 Pro and it fits fine

I bought the product based on the advertised benefits it offered to make my drone flying in bright light more enjoyable. And that’s exactly what the product does. I found it easy to unfold and fit to my controller and it is sturdy enough to withstand the slight manipulation required to fit. In it’s folded configuration it is easy to store away in my drone bag ready for use when needed. An “Ace” accessory!

This is the best sunhood I've ever used after trying other brands. It’s very simple to attach to the Rc, its very light and does not add weight to the rc when flying. The design is perfect. Easy to fold and unfold,good for transportation. Flying in a bright day is no longer a problem. I recommend

Chiunque abbia un drone e abbia provato a portarlo al mare, o in un posto molto soleggiato, anche una sola volta sa cosa vuol dire non riuscire a vedere nulla sullo schermo del proprio smartphone mentre il drone e in volo, e trovarsi a fare video alla cieca senza poter capire se si sta girando un buon video o meno, soprattutto gli utenti iPhone dato che questi tendono a diminuire la luminosità quando fa troppo caldo e sono esposti troppo tempo al sole . Ecco con questo parasole finalmente risolveremo questo irritante problema e riusciremo a vedere bene lo schermo senza dover più preoccuparci di nulla. Questo parasole è perfetto, ha la dimensione perfetta, e cosa importantissima non intacca la connessione tra radiocomando e drone, dato che non va messo avanti alle antenne. é facilissimo da montare dato che ha delle piegature che fanno capire il verso giusto e tutti gli attacchi sono magnetici quindi quasi si monta da solo. Inoltre, chi ha la versione combo, sarà felice di sapere che questo parasole entra perfettamente nella tasca sottile all'interno della borsa, sembra che quella tasca sia fatta a posta per questo parasole tanto che ci entra perfettamente. Insomma un prodotto veramente valido, economico ma che è veramente indispensabile per avere la garanzia di poter pilotare il nostro drone in maniera tranquilla vedendo bene tutto ciò che inquadriamo.

Je l'utilise avec un mini 2 et un Samsung S8. Très petit, donc tient bien dans la pochette que j'ai acheté pour mon mini 2. Facile à monter, il y a juste un coup à prendre, c'est de mettre le pare soleil avant le téléphone et... de mettre la prise du S8 à gauche au lieu d'à droite. A droite cela fait appuyer sur certains boutons du téléphone. Mais rien à dire, cela protège bien du soleil. Je recommande!
