I built the bed on my own over a few days. The instructions are ok. The spring tension is too high if you follow the instructions you’re likely to catapult your guest through the back wall and into the adjoining room! They tension is so much that the steel plates they attach to have bent and I’ll need to modify that are with one or two more big bolts. The cabinet is nice quality and looks good up or down.

I was worried before buying it to be honest. But the bed is a very good quality, very stable and a great space saver. I use it for everyday use for about 2 months already, no problems at all. My best decision ever.

Did not say on the site that it needed 3 people to billd this and it would take 3 days. It took me over a week. Main wood was chipped at the corners, which showed on the final build. Not able to get a UK mattress to fit. Had to adapt the space. Security catch sits up like a spear when the bed is down. Danger to anyone getting out of bed that side. Has to be removed when in use!!!
