Do they have visible seams / darker reinforcement by the toes ? I need to wear this with open toe shoes .

I always spray sheer toes with hair spray [not heavily] after putting them on and then pull the seam beneath my foot. It's old school but has always helped to avoid runs at the toes as well as showing no seam. I keep my nails short but depending on the shoe it can still cause a run. Hope this helps.

How do I know what size to choose?

You can look at the sizing chart. I am 5'2" 128 lbs. I can wear either an A/B or a C/D. I've worn both, but prefer the C/D as they fit higher on my leg. If you have the option of wearing either or, I would choose the larger size.

What size should be selected for a petite med/lrg?

The chart is really accurate, but if that doesn't help, you might try size C/D. I wear a 6 petite, 5'4", 125ish and I find the C/D fits great.

The barely there is much lighter than cinnamon.
