Super comfortable and very well made

I've loved these moccasins since I first started wearing them in college some 45 or so years ago. (Yep, I'm an old Hippie). When I graduated and joined the work-a-day world, moccasins at work were frowned upon, and then the store I used to buy them from went out of business. Now that I'm semi-retired and working from home I can walk around my yard and actually feel the ground under my feet. Because they're 100% leather, they're breathable, so no foot sweat making your feet damp and then cold. They come up just over the ankle, so a pair of heavy socks will help keep the warmth where it's needed and add just a bit more padding for the sole of your foot. Because there is no hard sole, you really can feel the surface you're walking on, so your feet and ankles actually get better exercise because you're walking more naturally. They're not really for walking in rain or snow, but if you do happen to get them drenched, just wear them until they're dry, and they will shrink or stretch to the exact conformation of your foot and be even more comfortable. All in all, it makes me think I've re-connected with a couple of cherished old friends.

Great looking boot well constructed wish I could’ve kept it. It was a little narrow for my foot so just a reminder they do run a little narrow, but if they offered it a wide, I’d buy it again.

Received my moccasins this morning. Out of the box, they looked superb. Exactly as I expected, and what the seller said they would be. Inside the moccasin is a very thin glued down insole. It is thick enough however to prohibit feeling the earth beneath my feet (something that is important to me). The insole is also VERY narrow. If my feet were any wider, It would not fit properly (You can remove the insole if wanted). When putting them on my feet, they ALMOST fit like a glove. I wear an 8.5 in boots and sneakers with an average width foot, and after reading the reviews, I decided to order size 9. I am glad I did. They are NOT water resistant (therefor not wearable in the rain), and I would suggest putting a leather /suede spray on them to keep them clean and a bit more resistant. This is a standard practice for most real leather products. My only gripe is that the heel of the moccasin does not fit properly. When walking, there is a small space between my heel and the sole of the heel. This causes the heel to fold in on itself between my heel and the sole of the moccasin that is a bit uncomfortable. If this was not an issue, it would without a doubt be a 5 star product. I am going to try and concoct something to eliminate the gap issue of my heel for more comfort.

You can't beat a pair of Minnetonkas. They're the most comfortable shoe/boot around! The suede will last you a lifetime and comfort again, is amazing. The men in the family own the tall laced boots and recently this classic fringe boot. The young man's feet in this case are Triple EEE wide and these fit him amazingly well. He ordered the accurate size as per the website, so sizing is spot on without guesswork. The suede is soft and pliable, the stitching is very high quality and the padding on the inside was very thick and unexpected, actually! A bonus! These were purchased to be worn as the only shoes at a frontiersman camping retreat over the course of 3 days. These were worn for play, for walking, for boys stuff, in sand and rain and they don't look like they've been worn at all. They clean up nicely and are just totally amazing. For this price, it's worth it. These will last our son a very long time. They are also breathable and he encountered no stinky feet in these boots. All day and most of the night for 3 consecutive days - that's impressive! His tent-mates were also very pleased. :) Hubby put KG Bootguard on the bottoms and it mats the nap down and creates a barrier to dampness. Worked awesomely!!! Kg's Boot Guard Brush on Toe Protection The color is beautiful and again, stayed true despite running around through dirt, mud and sand. The suede cleans off beautifully and effortlessly with a brush. Definitely an excellent purchase.

These are those shoes that it takes a initial continuous wear to break in that is so worth it in the end. I look forward to wearing mine, they are so comfortable, an extension of enjoying bear feet with some protection. I had a brand new pair that by accident I was forced to wear all day while running around manhattan at Christmas. That day did it and now they are like socks. These shoes changed my life, and I will NEVER be without at least one pair if not having two as backups. If I could pick one shoe to wear the rest of my life, this is it. Get one pair, practice with them, learn how to not break the laces and go. I avoid wet days, but other wise go. Last pair I wore all I wanted, for one year finishing them off with a trip to the west coast Burbank-Joshua tree and up trail desert hiking. Finally wore a hole in the sole and wore them home until a cat pissed in them. A month later in big Apple with a new pair! I’m from the future, Buy these and the $39 bidet from Amazon and thank me later by paying it forward.

Well built shoe. I was disappointed with the plastic shoe insert. I know its for support but that I wasn't expecting. I used a glue gun to remove the Insert Instead of sending them back. Other than that they are great.

Honestly, these are the best soft sole moccs you're going to find for the price. They do come with a light insole, so they are quite comfortable for wearing all day. I walk fox style, (toe-heel) and I use them literally everywhere. At home, to the store, driving, work, everywhere. I usually get about a year and a half- two years before I finally start to wear a hole in them. They do provide a decent amount of protection, yet still allow you to feel the ground with your feet. As for weather, they are just fine in inclement weather. Many think water hurts them, this is simply not so. Yes, it doesn't take long until your feet are wet, but it is still leather which is a porous medium. Keep wearing them and they'll dry quick enough. Best part is, when they dry on your feet, the moccs shape and sculpt to your foot shape making them even more fantastically comfortable. Leather stretches over time, so they will be rather tight at first until properly broken in and they are made for more slender feet in general. The only real downside of these is the fact they only come in one color. I'd love a pair in black.

Der Klassiker von 1967. Günstiger Preis trotz Handarbeit und gutem Wildleder. Etwas fragil, aber dafür sind es echte Mokassins ohne Laufsohle. Man läuft wie barfuß und sehr leise. Cooler Look und kultig. Jimi Hendrix trug sie auch.

Love these moccasins. They fit well sizing is great and they look amazing. I just got them but wearing them everywhere and so far so good. I definitely recommend.
