Amazing Flashlight (Updated)
Just got this in the mail today, package came as expected and to my surprise, four days early (YMMV with that though). Let me start off by saying, good god, this thing throws around light like nobody's business. I opened it at around 1700 hours when it was still bright out and I was seeing the beam on trees in front of me. If you need a searchlight that fits in the palm in one hand then look no further. Have I mentioned that it's bright? The package came with everything advertised and in good condition. The flashlight feels solid, and it has a nice little heft to it that lets you know that it's well made. The size is great, it's not too bulky by any means. It would fit in my hands better if it were just a little longer altogether. Do yourself a favor and not waste money on junk $30 or $40 or more flashlights. If you need to light some stuff up in a hurry, this thing will do it better. A friend of mine has the TK22 and it's served him well for a long time, so I'm going to give 5-stars for now because I'm confident in the Fenix brand. If something changes down the road then I'll come back and update. UPDATE: It's been almost a month now that I've been putting this thing through its paces. It works great, I'm very happy with this flashlight. I'm yet to see anyone with a flashlight with a brightness in the same league as the TK35UE, let alone in such a small size. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I really can't recommend it enough. I do recommend the rechargeable batteries though, the CR123 batteries can go a little fast at higher brightness levels.

Great light but kinda fragile
Well I loved this flashlight for the month that I had it. It fell out of my breast pocket I hit the ground and would no longer turn on. After inspection I believe the failpoint is the battery cradle. There's a burning smell coming from the cradle anytime batteries are put into it the fall had to have shorted out of wire. Fennix lights are usually pretty solid in the durability department but their dual 18650 flashlights needs some work. After looking at some of these other reviews I believe some of the other problems other people have been experiencing are also caused by this battery cradle having various issues. I'm looking into some flashlights with similar output with 26650 or 21700 batteries to avoid this type of problem.

Failed when I needed it most.
After purchasing, I tested the flashlight twice during canine search and rescue night training. It worked great. The turbo light was very bright. However, despite having been charged, I then used it on an actual night mission searching for a missing toddler and it barely cast any light. We were in the mountains in a light rain, very dangerous without adequate light. I charged it again later at home but it barely lit up on any setting. I contacted Amazon and then Edison Bright three times but cannot get a response on how to get a refund or replacement. This is very disappointing! I paid over $140 for this flashlight and the company will not return my messages.

Excellent
This light is nicely sized - fairly small - and casts a TREMENDOUS amount of decent quality light. The ergonomics are quite good. It has a secondary switch to allow for 3 or 4 differing levels of light intensity, though I'm not crazy about the clickiness of the switch. No complaints though for the price. It's an excellent bump-in-the-night home flashlight for the price. Build quality is quite good for this price level.

Was good for awhile
I have a lot of nice lights but this one still surprised me. Appears well made, very bright. Edit: is been a couple years and I've used this light very lightly but the mode selection button has stopped working properly. It will sometimes change brightness but usually not. The light has never been wet and i don't think I've even dropped it. Definitely looks like new. Too bad because the light is nearly useless now. Two or three years of hard use killing a light would be understandable but in my opinion this is not. Dropped my review to three stars from five. I considered one or two stars but it was a good light for awhile.

Definitely bright
This is a BRIGHT light. I hike with my dog through the pitch black hills/trails and this thing lights up everything around me very nicely. Having the options of low to high output is nice because you don't always need the blinding Bat-signal. It's compact enough to comfortably fit into a jacket pocket though there is a fair amount of weight to it (nothing crazy but I just mean it's not going to feel like a feather in there). I've also kept it in front pants pocket of my cargo hiking pants and I wouldn't say it's a perfect fit by any means but I can get it out easily enough (though if a woman or whoever had tighter pants on, it wouldn't work. Perhaps same would go for a tighter jacket. I'm 6' 180lbs and wear a large if that helps.) I do wish that you could adjust the focus from narrow to flood. This operates as a flood only, which is fine for most of the things I use it for (lighting up a pitch black trail etc), but there are times I do wish the beam could be narrowed down. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that it's a great light. I'm sure you could find a Surefire or the like that does more or is smaller or "better", but for the price of a Surefire I'd want it to double as a lightsaber and be able to pull apart into nunchucks. LOL. This is a pretty reasonably priced and a bright unit.

Ultimate Flashlight for its size!!!
Amazing light, battery can go fast on turbo setting but throws light for amazing distances! Get rechargeable batteries for this and it will treat you right. Great build quality, nice durable aluminum case-body and decent sized lanyard on end of light. It will probably be the most expensive flashlight of its size you will ever have bought but if you need it for whatever you won't be disappointed!! Only con is it gets quite warm on the lens end when operating so be care not to burn yourself.
