Things you may or may not want to know before buying--Glitches: It has occasional glitches, like where enemies dont respond or the enemies diagonal track to you graphically messes up. Not too big of a deal, shouldn't affect gameplay.Difficulty and gameplay: Certain parts of the game are difficult, especially for a small child. For example when you play as Zuko and the entirety of the Excape the Library segment. The rest of the gameplay is fairly simple, even if you dont really pay much too much attention to the tutorials. Although finding certain items can be semi difficult (ie: cabbages and one of the supply bags in the 2nd chapter). And the minigames? They very in difficulty, but overall i wouldn't consider too hard. The most difficult one is in Gaoling and has you jumping over a rock at a specific time, and the easiest is at the beginning and has you "healing" (tapping) the injuries of people.Game length: Varies. For me it was around 7 hours, when I was a kid it took me a lot longer.Story: Its a much more simplified version of the story from the kid's show, kind of sped up and slightly altered. Which, actually makes a lot of sense, because you can only put so much into a 2007 ds game.Overall: 8 years since my last play of it and still as beautiful as ever in my eyes. I consider this the best of the Avatar: the Last Airbender games. And absolutely nothing can change my love for this game and the characters.So. If you or your kid have a ds/dsi I would very highly reccomend this game. Because even though it isn't perfect, its still amazing in its own right.

I did not work in my sons Nintendo DS3.

This game was a Christmas gift for my little brother. He attempted to play it twice, and discovered that there was no menu, and that it "froze" repeatedly. It was also impossible to save the game mid-play. I got a refund from the seller, but I`m still very disappointed. Seems like it would have been a fun game.
