The Game of Life is one of our favourite family board games. We absolutely love playing it together, and it’s always a fun way to spend an evening as a family away from screens! The game is easy to understand, so everyone can join in and it keeps things interesting as you move through different life choices like careers, money and unexpected events. It always leads to laughs and a bit of competition, which makes it really enjoyable. It’s a great mix of luck and decision-making, and no two games ever feel the same. Overall, it’s a brilliant family game that we keep coming back to again and again!

My eldest recommended the game & we bought it as a gift. Really nice -quality board game, providing fun gameplay whilst trying to do financially well as well!

This was my wifes favourite game when she was a kid so made for a good birthday present. We all enjoy playing together as a family. It gives the kids a good lesson in all the bills we have to pay!!

We enjoyed playing this game. Quite a lot to remember but you can remember if you play often enough. Can play a few different routes but if you always choose same route can be a bit samey.

I won’t lie. I dread the box coming out😂. It’s such a cliche game, but that’s the charm for kids….Get married? Have lots of kids? buy a house? pet and retire. It’s quick and it’s the first game my lil one is ok losing in because he shrugs his shoulders and says ‘That’s life’. So 5 stars for entertaining the child and also being short enough, the end is in sight. Was on bed rest and begged my lil one to watch tv so I could sleep. Nope, no tv…the box was placed in my bed and that was it. An afternoon of Life being life ensued. No rest 😉. It’s his favourite board game at the moment.

Great classic family game

We have played this several times with our grandchildren, age ranges 7 to 15. They all love it and enjoy the fun of a career or college path. They love it when they get to fill their vehicle with babies.! If the above makes little sense, then you need to buy the game for hours of fun and delight. It really is that good.! Very much recommended.

The game is fine. The packaging and box to the game is damaged. But I can’t receive any type of refund.

Life is among the family’s most loved games.

I’ve had The Game of Life since I was a child, and this is my third version of the game. I was really looking forward to getting this updated edition with coloured pegs, updated action and career options, etc. While some aspects may be an improvement, overall I’m very disappointed with this version. The quality of the spinning wheel is below par, as is the way it attaches to the board. It keeps detaching, doesn’t spin smoothly, and when it does, it often gets stuck. In addition, the red and black spaces seem to shift out of place all the time. My ESL students felt the same, and we ended up using the spinning wheel from my old version instead. It’s been a bit of an anti-climax, and after using it in a couple of classes this week, I’m considering returning it. It’s a real pity that, across the three versions I’ve owned, the overall quality seems to have declined.
