Very happy with this litter scoop. Have thrown away all of my others, and will be buying this for several friends. You can't go wrong with this scoop. The shape is perfect and gets into the corners, it does not bend, it is incredibly sturdy, but very lightweight. Crazy I know, but I'm ridiculously happy with the scoop. Have two brand-new ones which will be sold at the garage sale. This is just a great scoop; performs as advertised. Crap (literally) Slides right off. Sorry-pun intended but no offense meant. (Ha ha). Have been using about a 2 weeks and the leading scoop edge isn't clumping with residual debris buildup. See Photo of scoop-no cleaning since purchase a couple weeks ago. Also, I am a big fan of my "litter Genie registered trademark" and the scoop fits perfectly into the side storage pocket of the litter Genie. First replacement scoop to do so and I've tried many. I have included a photo to illustrate this. Also included id a second photo my cat who jumped across the field of view at the exact time I was trying to take a photo. Had to include it, I don't believe in coincidences. Everything for a reason. Wonder If I can buy stock in this company! Also I have chipmunks that bury hoards of birdseed in my raised garden beds. The birdseed then sprouts in clumps as little pop up weed clusters. This scoop is perfect for going out to the garden beds scooping under those weed clusters to remove them, while letting all the dirt sift back to the ground. I realize it is not intended as a garden scoop, but this is great! Would be a "perfect" garden dirt sifting scoop if front edge was extended to create a "spade" leading edge. Free idea. When you guys make millions send me a free scoop!

Strong, durable, good large size, easy to clean and store. Continues to be the best litter scoop I've ever used. Happy with my purchase, well worth the money.

Finding the words to express, just how happy my wife and I are with this product is difficult. I'm not sure I can do so without it sounding like pure hyperbole. This scoop is awesome, great, unrivaled, the be all end all of litter scoops. This is the scoop I have been looking for since I first discovered the horrors associated with indoor feline companions. What used to be a 30-40 minute journey of knee and back pain multiple times a week has become a ten minute routine of ease. No longer does my wrist tire of constant shaking to sift litter away from my cats' excrement. No longer must I fear scraping urine soaked litter from the sides of the box lest my scoop become clogged. No more must I constantly shift from kneeling to standing to relieve my aching knee joints or sore back. The only thing I can't say is that this scoop has somehow made cleaning up after my cats fun. It still sucks, but oh so much less than it has for the last many moons. The solid construction means that I won't worry about the scoop bending or breaking as I pick up my cats heavy clumps of urine. Loose litter slides across the coated surface like a figure skater on fresh ice. I don't have to shake the litter free. The gaps are perfectly spaced for holding even the finest of clumps together while allowing all that is loose to freely fall back into the litter box. The perfect shape and angle of the front blade and high sides make even the largest of deposits easily manageable. Thank you to the designers of this scoop. After the first use I knew it was the one for us.

For me the most important feature in a litter scooper is that it can capture tiny soiled particles quickly and efficiently. This scooper does that. My litter of choice is fairly fine grained and there is nothing I hate more than leaving tiny bits in the box that need to be removed. So far this scooper is performing great. It is very sturdy, comfy to hold, well balanced, large enough to do the job quickly. For tiny bits that are too small to be caught even by this scooper, the curved front corner can be used to pick those up. Fortunately this is not necessary very often, I usually just use that method to grab foreign material that might have gotten into the box like plant burrs, hair, etc. The nonstick feature seems to help some with preventing wet material from sticking, but it is still necessary to clean that off at times. The seller suggested using Pam spray or cooking oil to lightly coat the surface of the scooper to increase the nonstick property. I may try this, but since I'm in the habit of cleaning it off with spray peroxide or alcohol and a paper towel if it's gets dirty, I'm not sure how often I would bother with this step. I do wonder how durable the nonstick surface will be as it constantly gets used in the abrasive litter material, but time will tell. I use corn or wheat based litter which may be a little less rough on it than clay, so perhaps that will help. Since the nonstick feature is the least important to me, I'm not too concerned about it. Shipping was fast and and it was great relief when it came so quickly, as I found myself unexpectedly taking in a sick kitty and forgot to grab a scoop in the rush to get everything needed. I had to ask my faithful slotted spatula to make the supreme sacrifice, which it nobly did, but of course it was not designed for the task and this made cleaning the box an even less pleasant job than it already is. My life is so much better with this quality scoop which I certainly recommend to anyone using fine grained litter.

I do foster care for rescue cats. Over the years, I've bought many metal iPrimio cat litter scoops. This is a sturdy, good-performing scoop, with a strong, comfortable handle. The sturdy handle and grip are better than most litter scoops we've tried over the years. A non-stick coating and painted finish do not hold up well over time. I would give this five stars the scoop was made from polished stainless steel (preferred) or polished aluminum (acceptable). Yes, stuff would stick at times, but it sticks to ALL litter scoops--including this one--at some point. Solid, rust-resistant, unpainted metal finishes work best for us. COMPLAINT: Recently, I have only found this scoop when it was packaged with a useless hangar or stand. I would not hang a litter scoop on a wall (unclean), nor do I need floor stand, which is packaged with some scoops. I have something that works better for us, and I need the 5-inch width for that. I have older scoops from other manufacturers that are just plain polished metal and they still work, but their dimension of 5.5 inches wide does not work with buckets that I use.

I can't believe I didn't get a metal scoop sooner. Trying to move around several pounds of litter in a box with a plastic scoop absolutely sucks, as I'm sure you have learned by now. This thing does a great job of being both much stronger and stiffer than plastic, while also preventing sticking since the whole thing essentially has a non-stick coating. This one purchase made cleaning the litter box SO MUCH easier. The mountable scoop holder is just the cherry on top and makes this an essential product if you have cats. Pays for itself in time saved and frustration avoided. Highly recommended!

I can't imagine EVER needing a new cat litter scoop again!! I was absolutely AMAZED at the quality, especially for such a low price!! Yes, it's priced higher than the plastic scoops - but we always wind up breaking the handle of the plastic ones within a year or two (sometimes less, depending on the brand), and since this one is made from a single aluminum mold, there's NO WAY it's going to break. The sifter slots are just the right size. We also used to have trouble with those tiny pieces that fall through all sifters - but with this scoop, you can just collect those against the deep sides and dump them right out. Gets into the corners very well - which is great, because our cats seem to head right to the corners of the litterbox!! We used to have trouble digging the corners out to keep it clean, but we don't have that problem now!! Wonderful product - HIGHLY recommended!! UPDATE: We honestly can't praise this scoop enough!! I have a chronic illness that has been making it difficult for me to clean the litterbox for years - but with this scoop, clean-up is a BREEZE - what used to take 10-15 minutes now takes 3-5 minutes, and I can finally help with this chore again!! It seems like each and every time I or my husband clean the box, we just HAVE to talk about how great it is to have this scoop - our only problem with it is that they didn't make it YEARS ago!! :-) These guys REALLY LISTENED to the problems cat owners had, and made a scoop that works perfectly and will last for years and years. You will save SO much money in the long run by buying this product!! BUY IT - YOU WON'T REGRET IT FOR A SECOND!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this scoop. This definitely falls into the category of a product I never knew I needed, until I had purchased it. In the past, every cat litter scoop I've used had been of the plastic variety, and had usually just been whatever accompanied the litter box I bought. These scoops were never terrible, but there was always something about them that seemed to make the process of cleaning the litter box longer than it needed to be. When I used this new scoop for the first time, I realized what I had been missing, and I would honestly never go back to any of the plastic scoops I've used before. These are the major advantages I noticed about this particular scoop: 1. A wide, deep shovel portion with a very narrow lip: this lets you scoop up a lot, even what's well below the litter's surface, quickly and efficiently. The width of the scoop is also a plus as it means fewer passes through the litter are necessary to get it clean. 2. Sufficiently narrow slats: with some of the plastic scoops I've used, the slats of the scoop were set too far apart, meaning small pieces would fall through and back in the litter box along with the litter. This scoop's slats are spaced close enough together that you really only seem to be separating the litter, so you're not trying to pick up the same stuff multiple times. 3. A sturdy, inflexible handle: This scoop can hold the weight of what you pick up, including very large, dense clumps created if you have more than one cat using the box. The handle does not bend, and you can still securely shake the scoop enough to separate the litter without having to worry about it buckling. Overall, this feels and works like a quality product, and I highly recommend it to anyone who might find themselves spending a little too long cleaning their litter boxes because of an inferior scoop. I would like to add that the wall mount included with this product seems to be of good quality as well, but I did not use it. It is backed with a peel-off adhesive, and seems very easy to set up should you also be looking to utilize the wall mount.

Tried to use it with clumping litter but hard to clean. Outer rim is slightly wider than inner spokes so litters stuck .. went back to my plastic scoop which is moulded as a single piece.

I felt compelled to review this scoop as it is just so good! Has a solid weighty feel and appears to have been forged/welded as one continuous piece with a soft grip handle. The bowl is a generous 13L x 10W x 4D (cm) and makes short work of clearing unwanted poop and pee from a large litter tray. What I like best is that it catches small lumps (Catsan natural clumping litter) of ‘debris’ which pass right through inferior scoops, making the job quick and effective. This scoop is pricey but the Rolls Royce of scoops and will probably outlast me and several cats! I’m off to see what else iPrimio make.

By far the best litter scoop I've ever used. We have clumping litter, all the unsoiled litter just glides through the slots. The sides are nice and high so litter doesn't just spill over like it does with other scoops. Over time, the top edge does get a little gunky from scooping clumps off the bottom of the tray. It cleans off super easy though, we've only had to do it once since purchase.
