How would the texture of this lighter compare to the texture of a matte finish?

It's smooth to the touch like the matte finish is to me.

Is the product the case and the case alone, or does it include the inner mechanisms such as the housing, wick, flint, and lighter fluid as well?

It Includes the entire Lighter along with the outer shell and Wink and Flint. But no Lighter Fluid as it is inflammable. So whatever we can buy from any store for the usual Zippo, are included in it. And Trust me it's a nice piece. I do have 38 Zippo now as a collector and happy to have this in my collection as well.

Is this like the finish of a spray on bed liner?

So I will be the tie breaker. It is a fine crinkle finish. It is not smooth like enamel. Gives the feel of good slip free grip.
