I really wanted to whole heartedly love this journal. While I do love it, there are some craftsmanship issues I can't get past. All of the pages, every single one of them, came with these odd folded lines on them. The leather outside of the journal itself was not damaged, but it was almost like the pages were creased before they were added into the binding.There's also these long tails were the journal is binded in the front and back. I wish they could have weaved the additional tail in some way, but that's me being picky. I might try and fix it myself.I will say, I love the paper. I prefer to write with felt tip pens, and the sharpie one is my favorite. With a lot of journals I get bleed through and can't use the back of the pages. With this journal there is no bleed through.If you're looking for a neat journal to use or gift, this definitely fits those needs.

It’s durable, you can throw it a bag or toss it the back seat of the car and it’s fine. The paper doesn’t bleed through and it has a nice classic look.

Perfect journal for keeping bible notes on! I engraved on parts of it with a laser and it worked really nice!
