LocknLock Metro Mug, Premium 18/8 Stainless Steel Metal, Double Wall Insulated, Portable Coffee Cup with Lid and Handle for Hot and Cold Drinks, Navy, 16 oz

I purchased this mug in two different sizes as a gift for someone who tends to be a spiller. One size to keep their morning coffee from cooling off too quickly, before they can enjoy it in a relaxed way. The larger size is for their daily water intake. Both sizes do a great job of keeping the liquid inside from losing its ideal temperature too soon, and maintaining that temperature over a long period of time. The value for the product is good, because you’re not tossing out drinks that have lost their appeal due to temp changes. That’s saving money. Temp retention is key here. The weight is what I expected for a cup that does this sort of job effectively. The sturdy handle is comfortable and makes the cup easy to use. I agree with the other reviewers on the appeal of having a silicone base. Its slip-resistance was one of the selling points that sold me on this one. On the occasions when it did get knocked over, the damage was minimal, if any at all, so I am satisfied with the outcome. Keeping the interior clean and free of staining is easy for me when I use a soft “erasing” type of sponge. It prevents the buildup from accumulating on the surface areas. Keeps it looking like new. I love using cups with stainless steel interiors because there is no transfer of taste into the beverage you are drinking. Granted, these don’t work with our vehicle’s cup holders, so they stay home and do their job there - brilliantly! All features and benefits considered, I would recommend them highly. UPDATE: We have owned these mugs for seven months now, and despite the fact that I have been extra careful about cleaning them (I wash them by hand), the paint on the handle has begun to flake off. I am hoping that their performance isn’t affected by becoming more slippery while gripping the handle. We’ll see. Sadly, they are starting to look a little abused.

Better than Contigo mug I like the lid and the way the slider works. No weird places for grime to hide like with a lid that slides open and close front to back. I also like that it's clear. Very easy to hold this mug and I like the rubber grip on the bottom. If it's good with my one cup coffee maker, that's not a Keurig. I favored this mug over the much higher price to Contigo mug that looks very similar but the lid is different and this is a better deal

This is my go-to morning mug. It keeps coffee hot for an hour or more. It's a little too big to fit in a car coffee slot on my console though.

Well made and keeps my coffee hot. Lid fits snugly. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the handle. With 12oz of coffee the handle becomes very uncomfortable in a short time. It needs to be less sharp and/or narrower. Both would be an improvement. Cuts into my hand. Like the non slip bottom.

Perfect size! Not too hefty or too flimsy. Keeps my tea hot and I especially love that I can position the spout where I want it and it locks when I need it to. Wonderfully made with no nags, bumps or wobbling. Love this! Wish I’d found it sooner!

The first time I used the mug with the cover I was very pleased. However, the second time the cover failed completely and hot coffee leaked all over my white blouse. I checked and it was on correctly. Tried again and it still leaked badly. Not a drip but almost like I was pouring it out. So disappointed. Would send it back but packaging is long gone.

I’m a slow coffee drinker & this cup keeps my coffee warm for hours. It is also easy to clean, as the sipper lid removes easily. Would definitely recommend & repurchase. Also love the purple color!

Just what I wanted. It keeps my coffee at least three hours. The coffee is still hot enough to drink. My coffee is still hot after 3-4 hours. The insulation keeps it hot enough to enjoy. I don’t have to hurry to drink. The cap is not a twist on but simply to push on. This mug is easy to clean. Since I am a LocknLock fan, I wasn’t disappointed.

I bought these mugs as gifts for friends and ended up getting one myself thinking I would probably not use it at all - now I'm the one who uses this the most! It is so useful for those of us who tend to leave our drinks a little too long, keeping them at a good temperature for a long time. My only complaint is that they do not fit in car cup holders so they aren't very travel friendly, but for home or work they are fantastic!

I like this mug since I'm a coffee lover. And also I want my hot coffee for long time.

Incredible and useful

Ensures that I can have a nice cold drink that stays cold without dripping water all over my desk/bed/dining table

One of the best mugs you can buy as it retains both heat and cold very well. I use it daily for long blacks and iced coffee drinks.
