Excellent ramen broth
I made actual ramen with homemade bone broth and braised pork, but I didn't make enough broth. This was an EXCELLENT supplement to the homemade broth. It has a really rich flavor, doesn't lose flavor when diluted, smells fantastic, and works great.

When you want the tasty instant ramen broth without the noodles...
...fry minced garlic, onion, ginger. Add water to boil. Add this. (Add your desired type of noodles if you really want). Add protein (chicken, tofu, shrimp, pork belly, leftover bulgogi, canned tuna, salmon, yada yada yada), add cut up veggies and all sorts of delicious toppings (Chinese cabbage, red cabbage, cherry tomatoes, watercress, cauliflower, mushroom, seaweed, kimchi, corn, pickled radish, fish cakes, some peanuts, edamame, bonito flakes, honestly whatever floats your umami boat). I have sourced these from fresh (veggies, meat), to frozen (veggies, meat), to canned (corn, tomatoes, tuna, spam, etc.), to dry (wakame seaweed, etc.). They are all terrific. Crack an egg and swish or don't swish the yolk. Add a little more salt to taste. ADD SESAME OIL! (or I hear black garlic oil's fantastic too). For those saying it's less flavored, add some chicken bouillon or mushroom powder. Chicken bouillon/mushroom powder should be a staple in your pantry if you're a broth fanatic like me. Add chili powder or your favorite spicy chili crisp (Lao Gan Ma is pretty reliable) for some heat and to change things up. You can buy different sauces/powders to rotate broth flavors. Or mix'em. (I have a tom yum paste and kimchi powder that works out to be much cheaper than this per bowl. There's also shoyu and miso broth bases if you look.) This umami, rich, healthy broth will hit that spot every time. It'll also look gorgeous with the 10 different colors and toppings put into it. Hot, satisfying, filling, and relatively quick and easy after a tiring day's work. You can't mess up the taste (for those like me who can't cook). Now that I think about it, this is like making a personal size hot pot, but much less of a chore of course. I buy some ingredients and have them on hand for at least the rest of the week. Buy frozen or canned depending on your situation. But this is the best way to treat yourself so you have the energy for the next day. I'm writing this only hoping that it'll help another person warm their tummies and their spirit and heart. We've all been there. Yes if you have 10 of the fancier ingredients in one bowl it'll add up. But you can buy smart and start with several. Bulk frozen corn, canned tuna, big frozen bags of chicken thigh or drumsticks, cabbage, frozen cauliflower or broccoli...can be gotten quite cheap and last many bowls of broth later. The thing is, this is healthy and tastes amazing and will absolutely do your body and mind good. Don't go grabbing some quick junk food that will harm your body.

Good flavor, "8 bowls" might be an overestimation
I recently returned from my trip to Japan (was my first time going), and was really missing the food there. Especially their ramen (I don't think I can look at instant ramen the same way again). I was looking for ways to try to replicate some of those flavors I missed (that didn't involve making your own from scratch), and gave this item a try. I think it's close. Obviously it's never going to replace eating ramen in Japan, and I can't comment on how it compares to other options for ramen broth (because I haven't tried them all), but something in the flavor definitely reminded me of what I had in Japan. I will say that 8 bowls is a generous estimation of how many servings you can make. Depends on the size of your bowl, I suppose, or how rich you like your broth. If we're talking the large size ramen bowls you'd see at Ichiran or Kamakura, I'd say you'll probably get closer to 5, maybe 6 servings out of a single bottle.

Great ramen flavor!
A superior tonkatsu ramen broth concentrate. I recommend it and it is even better when you pair it with authentic Japanese black garlic oil to garnish it with.

Pricey, but great flavor
Title says it all, really. It costs a bit much, but it makes a great base for Ramen, and I'm sure any other type of pork based soup or stew you'd like. A little goes a long way, but even further once you add some extra ingredients of your own (partial to minced garlic, sesame oil, red chili flakes and a smidge of ginger ourselves).

Great product
Love this product, have bought it several times now. Has a great taste and is very soothing broth if your sick or just want some good ramen. I have tried several others but it doesn’t compare to this one.

Just ok...
This is ok in a pinch, but vs about 5 other competitors I've tried it's more on the bland side and predominately onion flavored. With some added soy sauce it livens it up a bit, but for a price of over $1/serving there's more flavorful options out there. I also use this with some vegetable noodles so pay attention to calories, and it falls about in the middle. More flavorful options have a higher calorie penalty due to added fats, and lower calorie options are usually powdered and more salt dominant. Again, this falls right in the middle. I don't think I will get it again, but at the same time won't have problems finishing it. It's not great, but it's also not bad. With a bit of practice and commonly available ingredients you could probably make it yourself with better macros and flavor for a small time penalty.

Très décevant
Pour le prix, le goût aurait dû être bien meilleur. Très déçue.
