A must if you must
This should be the standard way to implement thermistors in 3D Printers. One doesn’t necessarily need to change the thermistor if it hasn’t suffered a dire problem but functionality/performance-wise, this is at least OEM-level if not better in accuracy. The difference is this design is miles ahead in reliability and quality. It is by far more secure and strong than the typical industry-standard which simply tucks in an ancient resistor into the heat block. The cables are much stronger and sturdy and the hot-swappable design means you don’t have to redo your whole wiring set-up if you somehow manage to break this strong and sturdy, top-notch thermistor.

The best thermistor upgrade for the CR10S Pro
Prior to my cr10s pro I had a Wanhao I3 and had a similar thermistor setup. Moving from that to the easy to break ones felt like such a huge step backwards so I was excited when I saw GCR finally made this available for the creality printers. Overall, this works great. It does exactly what it's supposed to do with only minutes to install. It does get a little tight in there, but overall it'll fit.

Perfect replacement
Ender 3 Pro 1.5 4.2.7 board with MicroSwiss direct drive and hotend as well as this thermistor and a 50w heater. The only thing I changed is I cut the connector out and soldered the wires so there's an unbroken connection all the way back to the mainboard. Sensor works flawlessly and does not look like some half baked pile of deuce hanging out the side of the hotend. Keeps pace with the ridiculously fast heating time of the 50w heater without complaint. I will purchase another soon because there's a Voxelab Aquila inbound.............

It fits the Micro Swiss All-Metal Hotend on my CR10s Pro V2
I do not know why I did not upgrade to this earlier. Install once and forget about it because you will not have to worry about cheap wires breaking like the standard Creality bulb. I installed this in place of the bulb because of a time rush and I could not get the OEM bulb within a day like this hex thermistor. I am glad I did. It is installed into a Micro Swiss All-Metal Hotend for the CR10s Pro V2. The fit is nice. After doing a PID Autotune, this thing just works. It has not had any thermal run-off or issues keeping temp. There are only two caveats. Depending on which way your heater block is facing, there can be issues where the silicone sock for the hex screw pushes against the hotend fan housing causing a tight fit. I left the sock off with no issues so far. The second one is that the plug in for the mother board does not have the lip clip that a standard Creality thermistor has. I had to jam the cord in, but it is working. You could always splice the Creality connector, if needed. Overall, get it and forget the worries of breaking another fragile bulb with a screw.

Work great but ...
I wanted to come on here and put a review. Recently I purchased two of these and after a bit began running into thermal runaway issues. Researched these a bit more and found out that you have to recompile your firmware and set the TEMP_SENSOR from "1" to "5". Then it will work with no problems. Anyway, the product works great. The issue I have is the seller left this piece of important information out.

Not compatible with Dragonfly BMS
I took a chance on the purchase for my Ender 3V2. It is compatible with stock hot-end, replaces the screw used to help secure the glass bead thermistor in the block--I confirmed this. However, it is not compatible with the Dragonfly BMS. I was hoping to be able to screw in the thermistor but the slot on the dragonfly heater block is a slight bit larger (roughly 3 mm) so the threads do not catch. Can't fault the listing, I'm sure the thermistor is fine.

Great Product
I kept having issues with "thermal run-a-way" on my Ender 3 pro. I heard about this upgrade and decided to give it a try. WOW! Am I pleased. I replaced the stock thermistor with this one about 6-8 months ago and have not had any more problems with "thermal run-a-way".

A quality product ti improves efficiency and temperature accuracy
I kept having issues with the generic thermistor, so I spent the extra money and bought this one. Quality of product is excellent along with packaging and support. The threaded end makes for piece of kind compared to the stock ender mounting screw. To top it all off it comes with a silicone sock to increase accuracy and efficiency. Great product engineered with quality in mind.
