Based on one of the most popular YAOI comic book novels! Yuki Morimura is by all accounts a disappointment. The only thing the substitute teacher has going for him is that he is the concertmaster of an amateur orchestra. To the shock of the Orchestra, music prodigy Kei Tonoin has been recruited to be their first true conductor. Kei graduated from a prestigious music university abroad and his arrogant totalitarian attitude drives Yuki crazy. Worse, he threatens the potential relationship Yuki seeks with a girl from the Orchestra. In abrupt anger, Yuki abandons the group in the middle of rehearsal. Kei does not take this lightly as he has long been secretly lusting over Yuki. That night, Kei's rage and passion combine to change Yuki's life forever. A Ok Story
Don't quite understand the story in the beginning. Only realise what is was all about towards the 2nd half of movie. Love makes a guy does crazy things to be near the person he loved.

Two stars should indicate that I didn't like it, but I was reluctant to say that it was a good movie. I was once forced (maybe raped?) and that one scene brought back a rather ugly memory.

this movie pretty much followed the story from the books
Based on the yaoi manga, this movie pretty much followed the story from the books. I always find it a bit strange when a manga is done as a live action film. OVAs are acceptable, of course, because the animation remains truer to the original in visual depiction, but this wasn't bad either. The actors chosen to play the lead roles were reminiscent of the manga characters. Over all it was well done with decent acting.
